The month begins with spirit, as Venus, the people planet, jogs on in Sagittarius, with enthusiastic Sun and curious Mercury in tow. This line-up happens to be in a wide grand trine to its ruler, Jupiter in Leo, and exciting Uranus in wild Aries, who gets an extra dose of intensity with the Moon snuggling up to it. The teenager within surfaces, ready to roll and intuitively sensing that the sky’s the limit. There is a magic to these days, and if we can stay focused (not always easy for Sag), and act from the heart, doors will open.
And yet things aren’t necessarily as light as they seem, nor are the best initiatives necessarily those we direct outward. For the first half of the month, Saturn is in the last degrees of Scorpio. Last month’s pull between the call to party and the need to face our shadows lingers. Prominent Sagittarius and its ruler, Jupiter, make things seem breezy, yet underlying issues haven’t quite blown away. This isn’t bad news, on the contrary, it’s the year’s pre-Christmas gift, a last chance to face our subconscious, including feelings frozen in old patterns and subtle alliances with situations that go against our true nature and needs.
