It’s April Fool’s Day, but Luna isn’t playing around. Moon in Libra opposes the Pisces-Aries stellium, including strict Saturn, the closest planet to the Sun. Mystical Neptune has been dissolving Saturn’s familiar structures. In Aries, the builder planet is focused on constructing something more independent. This lunation, ruled by sweet Venus, helps us soften our approach with diplomacy, PR, tact and beauty.

However, in trine to forceful Pluto, this Libra Moon is no pushover. Her only major harmony is a trine to Pluto, so her creative talents and people skills can be used with Libran savvy to get her way. With Mercury retrograde, this can mean to reinforce key connections, reassert limits, retrieve our team, fight for someone’s rights or redo a negotiation.

Moon’s ruler Venus squares intense Pluto. Although this Libra Moon is relational, it’s not light or casual. Stay alert: if drama rears its head or we feel challenged to engage in power struggles, it’s worth the effort to avoid engagement and keep our wits about us. We can be a force for justice and empowering (re)connections.

The serious energy is intense from early morning, as at 5:41 am (8:41 ET) Moon trines Pluto and at 6:25 am (9:25 ET), perfects her opposition to Saturn. This aspect can feel cold, even depressing, but it’s good for strategizing in ways described above. And we can do a Libra Moon decluttering ritual like the one described in our April General Influences.

Fullness is exact at 7:12 pm (10:12 ET). At 12-13 Libra, the Sabian symbol describes:

CHILDREN BLOWING SOAP BUBBLES… The cultural fantasies through which young minds dream of perfect fulfillment… the use of the imagination and the value of fantasy in a collective setup… [People] dream together as a preparation for acting together. Rudyar’s mention of “perfect spheres of multicolored radiance” could also allude to angelic beings, which many people have seen, and which are often associated with angels. Over ten years ago, bestselling author and channel Chris Bledsoe predicted that if the US and Is**el attacked Iran in April, 2026, beings in the form of light spheres would appear to expose dark truths, galvanizing popular opinion and dissolving the war before it ends up destroying the world.

Another interpretation of the colored spheres could be group use of imagination to turn on our light bodies. This higher aspect of our anatomy was a central tenet of most of the ancient mystery schools. (In my book Angels and Goddesses, published by Llewellyn, I refer to it as the angelic light body.)

Maybe Luna does have a playful side after all.

Moon in relational Libra goes VOC at 1:55 am (4:55 ET). With Moon’s ruler, sweet Venus, in square to intense Pluto, we might take out the satin sheets to enjoy the pre-VOC wee hours with our love object. The VOC continues all day, making for a weird combination of passion, fixation with change, potential obsession, and unpredictability.
