Sunday, February 1

Full Moon in dramatic Leo lights our heart power; we can shine it in creative work, social connections, or something involving children.

Early this morning, Moon opposes bellicose Mars in rebellious Aquarius. With both in fixed signs and on the Full Moon, there may be stubborn confrontations. Increasing the intensity. Today’s lunation puts us in the vibratory field of the February 17 New Moon Eclipse in Aquarius. Anxiety is high, and it’s not the best day to negotiate of settle a conflict. We can offset the stress by meditating, using affirmations or reciting prayers that activate11:04 am (2:04 pm ET) Moon trine Sun our heart energy. We can focus on finishing something related to creativity, socializing, romance, offspring or children.

At 13 degrees of Leo, today’s lunation makes an important trigger connection with the Battles of Lexington and Concord, the first major battles of the American Revolution, on April 19, 1775. On that date, Chiron in Aries and Moon in Sagittarius made an exact trine at 13 degrees, which today’s lunation turns into a grand trine. Considering the importance of harmonious protest to avoid justification of upscaling f*ci*t aggressions, the heart energy we can generate today, as well as peaceful actions to share it, could make an historic impact.

The Full Moon is exact at 2:09 pm (5:09 ET). The Sabian symbol for 13-14 Leo describes:

A HUMAN SOUL SEEKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUTWARD MANIFESTATION… The yearning for self-actualization… Behind the many rhythms and drives of individual existence… stands the soul seeking always to manifest itself through the personality. This is the transpersonal urge of the spirit, expressing itself in many ways during the whole life span. But most avenues are blocked, and the soul waits until it can wait no longer. Then comes the dramatic release, which may mean a joyous carnival or madness… Let the soul speak out! Allow the power of the true tone of your being to manifest itself smoothly, easily, unobstructed — or expect a variety of consequences. LET the soul manifest!

Affirmation:
God’s [or Source’s, Spirit’s, etc.] kindness radiates through my heart to all, here and now.

Monday, February 2

A day to share our light, socially and in work.

We’re at Imbolc or Candlemas, a portal of renewal. Sun reaches the midpoint between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, seeds buried in the winter ground begin to awaken, and the goddess symbolically recovers from her postpartum quarantine to return to varied, vital activities.

On the portal of yesterday’s fullness, Moon in expressive Leo favors connection, as do her early contacts to sweet Venus and loquacious Mercury. Things are less intense than yesterday, although there’s still tension. Use morning to get in touch, express warmth and show appreciation, generosity, and positive recognition. If interactions aren’t smooth, don’t push it. Make what headway you can and give things a light touch.

At 2:55 pm (5:55 ET), Moon goes VOC on a square to Uranus. The next few hours favor independent activities for fun or curiosity, like researching, reading, getting caught up with the news or enjoying cultural offerings.

Productive activities go better after 7:21 pm (10:21 ET), when Moon enters diligent Virgo. We can organize our space, help someone, focus on wellness, do cleaning, write down our goals and intentions, get some work done and take practical initiatives.

Affirmation:
Angels are here, helping me release the past and move into my new good now.

Tuesday, February 3

Our spirit of independence surges. We can take bold, purposeful action.

Uranus turns direct. Since early last September, the planet of innovation has been on his final loop in stable Taurus, giving us a look at our inner authenticity and what Taurean security really means to us.

His station direct makes this a day of awakening, when we can again begin to express our innovative, disruptive or independent urges outwardly. Support a cause, start or circulate an online petition, do armchair activism.

Connections are not apt to be calm, although we may join with those who share our ideals and independent urge. Moon in down-to-earth Virgo makes quincunxes to determined Pluto & assertive Mars, poking us to take on a challenge or solve something that needs shaking up. Save PR for another day and try to make independent, concrete headway on something that requires nerve.

Affirmation:
The power that I am prevails successfully through all situations, here and now.

Wednesday, February 4

A good day for work and for innovative or idealist collaboration.

In the wee hours, Moon in diligent Virgo sextiles abundant Jupiter in fertile Cancer, exact at 1:37 am (4:37 ET). This valuable aspect brings a welcome opportunity for favorable connections—with family, to help or heal, or for promotions, sales or business. Considering the tense nature of these days, we may even choose to get up before dawn and take advantage of this window, although some of its benefits should last through morning.

Later in the day, Moon makes minor tensions to sweet Venus and loquacious Mercury, spotlighting communications, connections, clarification of confusion.

We can make a breakthrough tonight. At 8:49 pm (11:49 ET) Moon trines Uranus, the liberator. In earth signs, this harmony can open doors of inspiration and release in business, work or for a practical solution. We can connect with idealistic collaborators.

At 11:49 pm (2:49 am ET) Moon goes VOC.

Affirmation:
I am the open door to infinite good that can’t be shut, now and always.

Thursday, February 5

A restless day that favors mental creativity and applying our intelligence to bold negotiation and communication.

At 1:33 am (4:33 ET), Moon enters socially-oriented Libra. She gets a bit argumentative, thanks to a square from Mercury to Uranus. When these two planets of lower and higher cognition connect, cognition sharpens. We can do brilliant editing or research or use the feisty side of the Libra Moon to start a petition, edit a letter to Congress or apply our creativity, sense of justice and negotiating skills with brilliance.

Sun in idealistic Aquarius makes a quincunx to expansive Jupiter in empathetic Cancer, fueling humanitarian impulses, and strengthening our confidence to shine our light in refreshing ways.

At 2:02 am (5:02 ET) Moon’s opposition to Neptune can bring angelic direction in dreams.

At 8:45 am (11:45 ET), Moon trines brave Pluto. We can fight for a cause, negotiate effectively, ask for what we need, make a court appearance or handle something involving justice. We can also work on healing a relationship or have a romantic—and sexy—brunch.

At 10 pm (1 am ET), Moon trines Mars, increasing vitality and boldness. We can do online activism or write our plans to fight tomorrow’s good fight.

Affirmation:
My dreams are a doorway to angelic realms that open my way, now and always.

Friday, February 6

We can enjoy group or personal connections and promote something.

Moon in relational Libra favors interactions, and today’s influences bring a welcome breath of harmony. Todays numerology of 6 offers protection, luck and cheer, favoring group encounters, negotiation, a and gatherings for family, academic or social groups.

At 9:21 am (12:21 pm,) Moon squares expansive Jupiter. We can connect with others’ feelings in empathy, for diplomacy or to promote something. The signs involved, Libra and Cancer, are both relational, facilitating positive agreements with relative ease.

At 11:49 am (2:49 pm ET), Moon trines Sun in free and friendly Aquarius. Confidence is high and we can socialize or connect with collaborators.

It’s best to make people connections and share key communications during the last hours of Mercury’s transit through intelligent Aquarius. At 2:48 pm (5:48 ET), the messenger planet enters Pisces, a dreamy, intuitive placement that is great for inner work, compassion and channeling, but not as good at clarity, and potentially subject to manipulation.

The rest of the afternoon and evening can be romantic and creative. We might enjoy a hot date or an intimate with our love object.

Affirmation:
Divine love flows through my life path in a river that touches me through the best and highest channels, now and always.

Saturday, February 7

We are overtaken by a desire for change, and can research and act on our options.

Venus is in orb of a square to Uranus, bringing excitement and accenting our spirit of independence. With Uranus in Taurus, Venus rules, stimulating creativity for art, connections, finance, and moving us to try something new.

Today’s intellectual numerology of 7 also relates to Uranus, strengthening our discernment and investigative abilities.

At 3:59 am (6:59 ET) Moon in Libra goes VOC on a trine to ruler Venus, making for a pleasant morning. We might enjoy beauty, art books, fiction or sharing with someone to lift their spirits or just for sake of giving.

At 11:13 am (2:13 pm), Moon enters Scorpio. From a bench under cherry blossoms, we dive into dark, intense waters, impelled to probe, to change, to move on. Passion surges and so does our courage. Combined with the rebellious Venus-Uranus square, we can make a life-altering decision, set an important limit, break free of an oppressive situation, agreement or connection. We can find alternative ways to accomplish a long-range goal and move on them.

At 2:39 pm (5:39 ET) Moon trines Mercury, facilitating deep or assertive communication and accenting the healing power of words.

Connections go best before 6:59 pm (9:59 ET) when Moon squares ruler Pluto. After this focus on independent activities like digging for secrets, transmuting beliefs, doing important research. It’s wise to watch one’s temper, and avoid jealousy, obsession, being secretive or suspicious or brooding over an offense that wasn’t intended personally.

Invocation:
Please keep me centered in my higher mind so I can discern situations clearly, now and always.

Sunday, February 8

We can get in touch with ourselves and renew our relationships, image and finances.

Venus, planet of love, beauty and values, perfects a square to rebel Uranus. Ruling one another’s signs, these two planets are in mutual reception, increasing their collaborative potential. Creativity surges; we cast off situations we have outgrown in relationships and finance; we seek a more beautiful, freer and authentic experience. New ways of investing can come to light. We can cut free of a confining relationship or social context, make strides in our use of AI, reconnect with friends who match our inmost self. Relationships are apt to be exciting, but watch for getting swept up by a situation or offer—in love or a practical situation—that looks great but may not necessarily stand the test of time.

Moon in Scorpio gives us courage to act on our need for change, while today’s numerology of 8 helps consolidate something we’ve been working on.

Most of the day is best for independent activities, as Moon, still carrying the energy of last night’s square to ruler Pluto, squares coruler Mars at 12:53 pm (3:53 ET). Our determination is bolstered. But aside from urgent actions like crisis intervention, ousting an odious roomie, filing for a divorce, or making a hundred calls to Congress, it’s best to leave people connections for after 8:10 pm (11:10 ET), when Moon trines charismatic Jupiter, a transit that favors business, family experiences, teaching and any activity requiring confidence and harmonious connection with others.

It also favors business and brings protection in things related to home, family and real-estate. With Mercury poised to enter shadow on Wednesday, February 11, and Moon reaching her Fourth Quarter early tomorrow, we want to use this favorable energy for positive change and growth.

Affirmation:
I give thanks for the support and the abilities I have, and move to use them now.

Monday, February 9

We can solve a problem, work for inner change and follow through on a major decision we had made previously.

Moon reaches her Fourth Quarter at 4:43 am (7:43 ET), marking the last week of the lunar month, a time to wrap up things we began previously and recharge our batteries in preparation for the new cycle beginning at next week’s Solar Eclipse in Aquarius.

At 20-21 Scorpio, the Sabian symbol for this lunation is particularly cryptic—and hopeful. It reads:

OBEYING… CONSCIENCE, A SOLDIER RESISTS ORDERS… A readiness to face the results of… refusal to follow the authoritarian patterns of an aggressive society… a conflict [that may]… be most typical in terms of the armed services — thus this symbol. In it we find the individual asserting his [or her] own values, though [s/]he cannot escape the consequences… In such a case [s/]he has to be quietly ready… whatever the costs… Society… seems to be all-powerful; yet the individual need not be spiritually bound, even if imprisoned. [S/]he still can display INNER FREEDOM and prove … [him or herself to be] an “individual.”

Still in orb of the Venus-Uranus square and on the doorstep of Saturn’s ingress to dynamic Aries, we have strong energies of change. Moon in Scorpio gives us the insight to solve a problem and the courage to do it. She strengthens our powers of inner change, to put us in sync with these rapidly evolving times and embolden us to move ahead. We can focus on therapy, a support group, journaling, prayer, mantras, meditation, forgiveness, visualization or our own favorite tools.

At 6:16 pm (9:16 ET) Moon opposes Uranus the liberator. We may experience an emotional awakening or uncover a secret related to family, country or our emotions. This transit stimulates creativity and with Uranus in abundant Taurus, can bring insight for financial directions. Moon-Uranus in fixed signs is willfully independent, so connections go best after 10:33 pm (1:33 am ET), when Moon trines Saturn the builder, strengthening our executive aptitudes and supporting lasting connections.

At 11:01 pm (2:01 am ET) Moon goes VOC, entering adventuresome Sagittarius at 11:22 pm (2:22 am ET).

Invocation:
Archangel Michael, please direct me on my new path and embolden me to act on it now.

Tuesday, February 10

We can focus on forgiveness, work on trade or promotions, hold a business meeting, take or give a class, or follow up on communications or a legal matter we had going previously.

These all are good areas for Moon in Sagittarius, energized by the assertive numerology of 1, which during the Fourth Quarter Moon is best applied to finishing things.

If we happen to be up for it, early morning is good for dreamwork and connecting with angels, thanks to a wee-hour trine from Moon to coruler Neptune, and Venus’ entrance in mystical Pisces, exact at 2:19 am (5:19 ET) . The harmony also favors nocturnal romance.

The rest of the morning is good for people connections and things requiring nerve, as at 7:27 am (10:27 ET), Moon sextiles bold Pluto. Reach out to someone in a position of power or who can make a difference.

At 1:02 pm (4:02 am ET), communications may become uneasy or confusing as Moon squares Mercury the messenger. On the upside, with Neptune ruling Moon in Sagittarius and Mercury in Pisces, there’s spiritual stimulation, and creativity for prayer, mantras, affirmations, channeling and connections with light beings.

Afternoon is best for independent mental and spiritual activities.

Avoid sermonizing and carelessness.

Affirmation:
Nothing can keep divine cognition from expressing clearly in me and through me now.

Wednesday, February 11

We can apply our vision in assertive action.

Moon in adventurous Sagittarius is triggered into action by a sextile to dynamic Mars, exact at 5:43 am (8:43 ET), and a quincunx to ruler Jupiter at 8:18 am (11:18 ET). Sag’s gift of leadership is accented, favoring trade, diplomacy, negotiation, sales and promotion, holding a business meeting, giving a coaching session, engaging in sports, or inspiring people.

Late tonight, we get a burst of energy that we can direct in creativity, spirituality, trade, online flirting or people connections, thanks to a sextile from Moon to Sun at 10:53 pm (1:53 am ET).

Today Mercury enters pre-retrograde shadow: for the rest of the month, and our efforts are best directed toward things we started previously.

Today’s numerology of 11 facilitates angelic efforts to use our love energy and elevate the planetary frequency.

Affirmation:
Independently of the response of others, I stay centered in love, now and always.

Thursday, February 12

A quincunx from dynamic Mars to enthusiastic Jupiter combines with Moon in expansive Sagittarius to make for an adventuresome, energetic day.

We can reach out to people from a different culture, country or creed, motivate ourselves and others, and direct our strategic and social skills to promote a cause, a negotiation, or a deal of some kind.

At 11:29 am (2:29 pm ET) Moon goes VOC on a square to strict Saturn that may feel depressing but whose effects pass quickly as at 11:44 am (2:44 pm), Moon enters capacious Capricorn. This placement combines with today’s Mars-Jupiter sextile to favor directed efforts for work, business or a cause.

Try using it before 12:43 pm (3:43 ET), when Moon squares mystical Neptune, bringing possible confusion but also stimulating creativity, intuition and compassion. With Neptune in Aries, it can get us in touch with our spiritual warrior nature, which we may direct by praying for peace or similar spiritual activities.

Connections go great after 6:23 PM (9:23 ET), when Moon sextiles charming Venus. We are emotionally attractive, with vibrations of love that are picked up by others and can open doors, particularly with women or for beauty, romance or prosperity. Activate your heart energy and knock!

Affirmation:
I am grateful for the love that surrounds me and appears in appropriate, happy ways, now and always.

Friday, February 13

A day with much constructive potential. We get a new start in work, discipline and our identity.

Moon in Capricorn combines with today’s constructive numerology of 4 (ruled by Saturn), to favor getting things done. The combination can be rather demanding—prepare to use your organizational and executive skills, yet give yourself some slack.

The best time for connections starts at 10:17 am (1:17 pm ET), when Moon sextiles loquacious Mercury. We can write and present a proposal, negotiate a deal, promote our venture, have successful communications, collect money.

At 4:11 pm (7:11 ET), Saturn the boss enters restless Aries, sign of identity. As with most slow planets, we’ve been feeling this transit before it perfects. And we were submerged in it last year from late May to late September. During that time, our DIY spirit was activated. We felt restless about collaborations and structures that seemed to slow us down, and ready to start out on our own, or on in a way that somehow resonated with our true identity. (See our February General Influences for more on this key transit and the upcoming conjunction of Saturn and Neptune.) This is a good day to look at what was going on for us from 1996-1999. What new cycle started for us then, and what kind of parallels could it have for us now?

The critical point of 0 Aries triggers a great wave of electricity, and actions taken today can set in motion far-reaching results. Moon in Capricorn gives the ingress a productive tone, supporting actions that are practical and connected to long-term goals or intentions. That we’re in Mercury’s shadow indicates that the energy, though new, is somehow connected to pre-existing themes and efforts.

At 7:28 pm (10:28 ET), Moon opposes abundant Jupiter in sensitive Cancer. Our vision expands to include themes of family, abundance and soul growth. Mindful of diplomacy and emotional self-control, we can connect with people or promote something.

Affirmation:
I give thanks for the new, higher forms of security that are assembling, here and now.
