Daily Astrological Forecast, June 1–24
Saturday, June 1
Moon, exalted in abundant Taurus, joins ruler Venus and harmonizes with inspired Neptune in Pisces, along with constructive Saturn and powerful Pluto in Capricorn. This is a great day to prepare to finish something related to work, a shared endeavor, or to strengthen an important personal relationship.
If you’re up early, take some time out to meditate, decipher guidance received in dreams, and consider what you want to finish or let go of by the waning light of the Balsamic Moon.
People connections flow, and Taurus Moon loves to share a meal—but even these convivial situations favor work or shared efforts.
Today, we can build up something we want to last.
I identify with success and act in this certainty now.
Sunday, June 2
This is a day of deep connections.
Moon in communicative Gemini sextiles wounded-healer Chiron. We can use words in an especially meaningful manner. Journal, write, schedule therapy, discuss something worthwhile, show up for and listen to someone with empathy—or, write to Congress.
A trine from social Venus to deep Pluto in sensual earth signs can make for a passionate encounter. It’s also good for altruistic activities, supporting crisis intervention, couple’s therapy, working on self-esteem, and healing our way of manifesting money and romance.
Spend time with others, but be selective.
To the voices of doubt I say: I am worthy of love and prosperity and I allow them to flow to me now.
Monday, June 3
At 3:02 am (5:02 ET), Moon is reborn in Gemini, sign of communication. In the chart for this lunation, Venus the lover is in trine to intense Pluto, and Moon makes a T-square to Neptune and Jupiter, planets of vision, light beings, and great expectations. These aspects create a sort of hypnotic effect, triggering hidden, imaginary, and transformative energies that give an unusual depth to Gemini’s busy-ness.
It’s a fantastic combination for making a treasure map or dream board.
Clarify your intent and start something that transforms your communication. For instance:
- To heal shyness or a resistance to speak your truth
- Begin couples’ therapy
- Sign up for a workshop on writing or public speaking
- Start working with a coach
- Establish a closer, clearer relationship to your guardian angel or spirit guides
- Forgive your siblings
- Begin a more intense discipline of chanting or writing affirmations
- Begin a new dream diary
Check our General Monthly Influences for a tip for your Sun and rising signs.
As for practical concerns: connect, but do so mindfully. Postpone important decisions and contracts, and save romantic flings for another day.
Guardian Angel (or favorite spirit guide), please help me find my true voice, and move me to share it with confidence now.
Tuesday, June 4
Moon in Gemini combines with today’s constructive numerology of 4 to make early morning a great time for sharing ideas, launching a promotion, or reaching out to a sibling or client. Do it before 8:42 am (11:42 ET), when Moon goes VOC.
At 9:17 am (12:17 pm ET), Moon enters sensitive Cancer, where she’s joined by mental Mercury at 1:05 pm (4:05 ET). Afternoon and evening are great for intuition, art, creative endeavors and blessing the home. Beware of taking things personally.
This home is made of divine substance that actively generates good for all who enter it, now and always.
Wednesday, June 5
An early conjunction with Mars brings out the dynamic side of Moon in Cancer, as does today’s numerology of 5, also related to the red planet. Independent efforts go best: we can do business, work on self-empowerment, or embark on a new course of spiritual study.
At 5:06 pm (8:06 ET), our heart energy grows as Moon trines sensitive Neptune, favoring consulting a psychic or the angels, meditation and prayer for others, generating love and forgiveness, or taking action to help a person or group.
Tonight, reconnect with your mission, steer clear of guilt trips or emotional blackmail, and organize for success.
Releasing all involved, I declare myself free of the mindset and karma of others.
Thursday, June 6
Take some moments for yourself early this morning. Moon’s opposition to intense Pluto favors healing and dream interpretation but can also trigger emotional drama or power struggles.
At 7:10 am (10:10 ET), Moon becomes more social, harmonizing with Venus in grounded Taurus and making the rest of the morning great for connecting with others, particularly regarding business, finances and creative endeavors.
At 12:16 pm (3:16 ET), the tone becomes even more outgoing as she enters Leo. Lunch with friends, go out with a new love interest, lease or rent property, take the reins of a situation, ask someone in a high place for support, and work on developing your talents.
This evening’s waters may get a bit choppy: avoid an unnecessary argument or acting prideful or overbearing. Instead, opt for independent study or work on something creative.
I have knocked, the door has opened, and divine results have manifested now.
Friday, June 7
Our mental acuity is sharpened as smart Mercury opposes brilliant Uranus, accenting mental capacities and complimenting today’s numerology of 7, which in turn is ruled by these two planets and related to intelligence. With Moon in Leo, we can apply these energies to develop creative strategies and work and, with Moon’s sextile to ruler Sun, promote them.
There may be tension in one-on-one interactions, so save potentially delicate or key encounters for another day.
I give thanks that all things happen with divine timing, now and always.
Saturday, June 8
Today’s number, 8, likes power, but the Moon in confidence-hog Leo makes for tense contacts. Vent your need for control by striving for excellence in work or a creative endeavor. Or go for a walk and allow your inner child to have fun.
At 2:23 pm (5:23 ET), Moon goes VOC, entering practical Virgo at 2:45 pm (5:45 ET). Virgoan activities such as organizing space or work, visiting a nutritionist, going to the gym, or reviewing something related to communications, finance, productivity, or completion of an old project, are now favored.
I master my mind, and my world is lifted in divine resonance, now and always.
Sunday, June 9
This is a great day to visualize and move courageously on our dreams, take or give an esoteric class, or make a date with the artist within.
Sun squares Neptune, planet of fantasy, and Moon in Virgo sextiles ruler Mercury and assertive Mars, helping us ground our vision. This combination is good for sales, or for convincing someone to support our dreams. However, somebody may also try to convince us, and it’s better to wait for another day to sign contracts or go home with a guy (or gal) you just met.
At 10:59 pm (1:59 am ET), Moon makes her First Quarter. At 19-20 Virgo, she activates the following Sabian symbol:
A GROUP OF SETTLERS START ON THEIR JOURNEY IN OLD CARS. Rising to achievement in spite of inadequate equipment. Joying in meeting life’s challenges. Venturing with faith.
I listen to my intuition and act in faith, here and now.
Monday, June 10
If you have something important to get done, rise very early and use the practical Virgo Moon before 5:01 am (8:01 ET), when she trines intense Pluto, and then goes VOC for the most of the day. We can use this prolonged lunar down-time for healing and praying for others.
At 5:29 pm (8:29 ET), Moon finally enters Libra, where she favors socializing, downloading new music, working on a bank statement, negotiating, and making love with a new partner.
In addition, Sun in communicative Gemini opposes expansive Jupiter in Sagittarius, fueling our vision and increasing the charm of our words, promotions and creative proposals. This aspect has a certain explosive potential, so walk your path, but go gingerly, holding your basket close to your chest and watching for surprises in the grass. That said, tonight’s romantic potential is high.
In the One Mind, I am already connected with the highest and the best people. I know them in the invisible, and they appear visibly now.
Tuesday, June 11
Moon in Libra, sign of questions, makes a series of tense aspects that are not conducive to PR or harmonious interchanges, but do favor going to therapy, reviewing a legal strategy, journaling, editing, and writing in general.
Leave interpersonal clarifications and negotiations for another day.
Divine love flows into my life through the best and highest people, here and now.
Wednesday, June 12
If you have something important to accomplish, get up for it very early to use the harmonies made by Moon in diplomatic Libra to noble Jupiter and purposeful Sun, which particularly favor promotion and people connections.
At 8:15 am (11:15 ET), Moon makes a square to intense Pluto, going VOC until late tonight. Enjoy reading, art therapy, coloring mandalas, and immersing yourself in beauty. Save key initiatives and purchases for another day.
At 9:00 pm (12:00 am ET), Moon enters Scorpio. Savor a midnight encounter with your love object.
I abide in the divine so I am always at the right place, doing the right thing at the right time.
Thursday, June 13
Moon in smoldering Scorpio makes tense, potentially transformative contacts that favor working through crisis. This can be done in therapy, meditation, prayer, or a legal setting. A sextile from Venus to Chiron favors breakthroughs in self-esteem and connecting with those who matter—a support group, therapist, empath, or even a new contact who happens to be on your evolutionary wavelength.
A quincunx from Sun to intense Pluto and a trine from Mars to slippery Neptune indicate deep connections, but not necessarily easy ones, both closing the day on the same theme: focus only on worthwhile connections that are clearly supportive or productive. Avoid blind dates, “iffy” social encounters, speeding while driving, imbibing, and using mind-altering substances.
I am not alone or without protection. The Divine Guardian is with me, protecting me and shielding me in omnipotent good, now and always.
Friday, June 14
Moon in Scorpio moves us to act courageously, yet co-ruler Mars opposes gate-master Saturn, who may seem to block our initiative. If this happens, don’t try to ram things through. Provoke a pause, consult your intuition, plan your moves, and avoid taking things personally. Face the problem and put a strategy in place to solve it.
We should also take care to avoid jealousy and obsessive attitudes.
At 12:46 pm (3:46 ET), Moon goes VOC, where she’ll be until tomorrow. This could be a passionate night, or we could work on forgiveness, or research something just for fun.
Spirit is present in this situation, showing me what I need to see now.
Saturday, June 15
Moon in Sagittarius connects with rebel Uranus and wounded-healer Chiron in Aries. These somewhat revolutionary energies fuel spontaneity, and are good for participating in a social or ecological cause.
However, still on the doorstep of yesterday’s opposition from Mars to Saturn, try to keep on the calm side of Sag’s adventurous spirit. Take a seminar or class, study, visit with friends, meditate on forgiveness, go to therapy or consult with a coach. Or watch a humorous movie, or spend time outdoors.
Avoid carelessness, sermonizing, or overdoing. Save rock-climbing and swimming in the shark zone for another day. Evening is the best time for romance and socializing.
I radiate love to myself and others, and on that wavelength I attracted the highest and best situations to me now.
Sunday, June 16
This is a dreamy day, when inspiration is high and mindfulness advised. Angels come up all over, as Mercury in sensitive Cancer contacts both Jupiter and Neptune, planets of light beings, before the latter two square one another.
Today we can invoke angels, the buddhas, goddesses or our favorite light beings. Such contacts—as well as intuitive thinking in general—flow better than a more rational approach. With Mercury in Cancer in opposition to Saturn, negative thinking may come out. This opposition is not exactly warm, but can be useful for putting our notes and papers in order. It also allows us to look at our ideas about fathers, fathering, and fatherhood. This influence is great for enjoying a movie, music or a beach, lakeside or river setting. However, be especially mindful when getting into or on bodies of water.
Communications with humans flows better after 12:09 pm, when Moon in Sag joins Sag’s ruler, noble Jupiter. Go on a low-key picnic, enjoy dear ones or familiar friends, or do something altruistic, particularly teaching or spiritual support.
It’s also a good day to follow up on correspondence, retrieve data, consult a psychic, or work on a promotion.
Throughout the day and into the evening, there may be confusion, and things may look sweeter than they turn out to be. Exercise a certain caution, and avoid speeding on the road, extreme adventures, dubious propositions, and overdoing the liquor or other recreational substances.
I praise the forces of positive paternity and their earthly channels now.
Monday, June 17
Today’s Full Moon in Sagittarius (1:31 am; 4:31 am ET) has a magical optimism that presages Summer Solstice. In conjunction to ruler Jupiter, it also comes with a touch of fortune.
There’s a sense of urgency about this lunation. With pushy Mars conjunct Mercury in sensitive Cancer and opposite Saturn in stalwart Capricorn, we may feel driven to express our feelings and strive to overcome obstacles. A square from Jupiter to Neptune, planet of dreams and visions, is quite inspirational—but could also move us to push ahead before we are prepared, or to let ourselves get carried away by a mirage.
The Sabian symbol for 25-26 Sagittarius echoes a call to caution:
A FLAG BEARER IN A BATTLE. The nobly accepted subservience of the individual to collective values and goals… in the old-fashioned type of battle, whoever carries the flag has to feel himself the representative of the integrity and unity of his group… his personal life and welfare should… be submerged in and identified with the welfare ‘the greater whole’ of which he carries the standard. In certain circumstances every person can act as a conscious and responsible agent… In substance, the symbol asks: Are you ready to assume that role?
The symbol has a martial tone that is also reflected in the strong Mars for this chart. For some, it may sound a call to march into battle. Others may question whether and how we are choosing our battles.
At 9:13 am (12:13 pm ET), Moon enters Capricorn, although the Full Moon portal continues to be strong. We are also in orb of a sextile from Saturn the builder to Neptune, which helps us ground this portal’s inspiration. Do inner work, enjoy the subtle vibes of nature (see our Honey Moon ritual), contact light beings, harvest berries, move to eliminate distractions and organize your time to ground your dreams. Other fertile avenues to pursue are to start work with a coach, or push to finish a creative or spiritual project. Above all, express the love you’re holding inside.
Avoid intense partying and other potentially low-vibration situations, and instead, get high on the smell of late Spring’s grass.
Spiritual warrior forces, please help me bear a flag of peace, now and always.
Tuesday, June 18
Moon in Capricorn, sign of the builder, compliments a wonderful sextile from Saturn to Neptune that perfects today, and is propitious for organizing ourselves to ground our dreams, and beginning action on them.
Consult with a coach, find tangible ways of reducing distraction, take an action step that you’ve been postponing, even if it seems too complicated or late to start it now.
A conjunction from mental Mercury to dynamic Mars fuels assertive expression, though in Cancer this combination can become quite defensive. Get your ideas across, and if necessary, defend a loved one; but remember to listen to others, apply tact, and avoid taking things personally.
All in all, this is the last effective day of Moon’s transit through practical Capricorn. In work or a creative or altruistic endeavor, focus on practical progress. Don’t waste it on small talk.
Focusing on what matters, I leave a mark of light, here and now.
Wednesday, June 19
If you’re up before dawn, use Moon’s conjunction to Pluto to finish something related to healing, finance, messaging an influential person, or another tangible goal.
At 4:19 am (7:19 ET), Moon goes VOC, where she’ll be most of the day. You could go back to sleep, and then just for fun, take some time to enjoy an experience that appeals to your inner millionaire. Have tea at a fancy hotel, walk through an area with pretty shops, enjoy a rich museum exhibit or a particularly lush park or spot in nature, read about prosperity, or make a generous donation to experience the richness of giving.
Mars in sensitive Cancer oppposes Pluto in intense Capricorn. We can intuitively perceive ways to defend a vulnerable dear one or group, and to defend our need for space, refuge and inner connection. However, this intense aspect can fuel aggression, so it’s more constructive for thinking about, organizing for, and strategizing on such actions, while we save the actions themselves for another day.
At 7:01 pm (10:01 ET), Moon enters Aquarius. Gather your allies!
We are not alone or without protection, we are divinely insured for our wellness and success, now and always.
Thursday, June 20
The Full Moon has cooled off, and the stars gift us with a Moon in social Aquarius. Have brunch with friends, organize a surprise party, seek out others that stimulate your intellect and resonate with your weirdness, try something different, fight for a cause, buy a computer, learn a new dance, volunteer at the local school, hospital or park, quit your job, contact friends to organize a gathering for tomorrow’s Summer Solstice. Pamper yourself, get a haircut, explore your options, research an impending move, throw yourself into investigative research involving a career change, look at how things affect your best interests and listen for intuitive guidance. But don’t overdo!
Fairies of summer, please melt away my doubts and reignite my magic now.
Friday, June 21
If you’re up to it, rise early to make the most of this magical morning. Moon in Aquarius is propitious for trying something new and reaching out to those who encourage—directly or indirectly—our unique path.
Today, Neptune begins its yearly retrograde, activating our inner doorway in resonance with the subtle magic of Summer Solstice. Also, Mercury the messenger enters pre-retrograde shadow. The next seven weeks favor inner work and reviewing, reorganizing, and redoing things begun previously.
At 8:54 am (11:54 ET), Sun leaves the analytic atmosphere of Gemini and enters the sensitive waters of Cancer, triggering the Summer Solstice and what’s known as “the portal of magic”. The longest day infiltrates the night, the veil between reason and intuition is attenuated, and feminine energies surge.
With Moon VOC in Aquarius all day, enjoy friends, alternative gatherings, and just have fun.
Angels of Mother Earth, please direct us to care for our planet and move us to act for its wellness, here and now.
Saturday, June 22
Moon is VOC in Aquarius until 7:01 am (10:01 ET), when she enters Pisces. Today’s master number 22 and Moon’s harmonies to Sun and Uranus extend yesterday’s magical portal. Today is great for a Solstice gathering.
We can also meditate, pray, go on a shamanic journey, review past lives, consult an oracle or a psychic, spiritual guide or the angels, radiate and act from compassion, settle a dispute with family or friends, practice forgiveness, make a treasure map or work on a project involving imagination or creativity.
We can get practical results on something we began before yesterday, especially in the areas of: rewriting or editing a proposal, agreement or contract, working on house design or production, repairing equipment, or sending out tweets or emails.
Avoid substance abuse and toxic surroundings.
All doors lead to omnipresent good, and I bless my passages, here and now.
Sunday, June 23
With Moon in dreamy Pisces activating a T-square with sweet Venus opposing kind Jupiter, now is the moment to provoke a pause for a romantic escape, or enjoy a garden brunch, concert or art exhibit.
With Moon in sextile to Saturn, evening can be quite productive and perfect for organizing the week ahead, or for that matter, the summer.
Prepare for tomorrow’s action window by charging your batteries with love and faith.
I am a channel of healing love, and I allow it to radiate in me, for me and through me, now.
Monday, June 24
Today’s prosperous numerology of 6 supports fortunate outcomes from Moon’s dynamic harmonies to Pluto the powerful, Mars the mover, and Mercury the messenger.
This is a great day to work on media production, connecting with someone influential, a daring initiative, advertising, promoting a creative project, signing documents, creating inspiring texts, structuring an argument, and generally getting your message across. (Remember to focus on something started before last Friday.)
Though Moon goes VOC this afternoon, she performs well in Pisces, entering Aries at 7:38 pm (10:38 ET). Despite the hour, with this being the last night before she reaches her Last Quarter, we could make an extra effort to use the evening and initiate change, do something requiring courage, and push through resistance to get something done.
I use each hour and make my life an act of power, here and now.
