September is rich with possibilities. For the first time since emerging from the pandemic shut-down, Sun is in Virgo, renewing our connection with work. Virgo is great for getting things done, and this grounding potential is strengthened by two Grand Earth Trines in this month’s lunations.
But before we think this sounds comfy and secure like earth trines should, note the planets involved. In Taurus, we have rebel Uranus; in Capricorn, Pluto the transformer. They are both planets of change, involved in the pandemic shake-up and currently retrograding to review the changes in our security, values and finances, that have been triggered over the last several years.
This isn’t bad, it just means that we can kiss business-as-usual goodbye, and focus our Virgoan diligence instead on grounding the new directions life has been calling us to. Sun’s ruler Mercury is retrograde; this new approach to manifestation regards something we’ve started before.
Important planetary harmonies and two magical lunations bring opportunities, but the main force for progress is our initiative, which will be strengthened by the ongoing influence of Mars. Mars relates to the sacred masculine in general, notably in European traditions to Archangel Michael, whose feast day is on September 29. Among other transits, Mars, the planet of drive, harmonizes with the two planets of success, Jupiter and Saturn. With publicist Jupiter in out-there Aries, Mars in expressive Gemini may make us blat out more than we mean to. When tempted to bark at someone, we might first take a moment to breathe deeply, and before responding, send the words through our heart.
For those of us who tend to overcommit, the distraction factor is of special concern. If we live with others, we can put “Do not disturb” on the door. We can rise early to cover priorities that are quiet, independent, and creative. We can define times of day to interact with others or turn the mobile phone off. We can choose two to three projects we wish to tie up and save the rest for another month (Gemini is incapable of doing just one thing at a time). We are apt to feel restless, and it’s a good idea to direct this energy in doing errands, taking walks, and going on short trips that can be combined with work or accomplish something we’ve been postponing.
As for opportunities, Mars in Gemini is…. Become a Premium subscriber and get the full story! SUBSCRIBE!
