The astrological influences of January 2022 bring new support for old dreams.
Mercury will be in retrograde and shadow—our minds are still focused on situations and goals we had set in motion in weeks, months or perhaps years past. Saturn’s square to Uranus may still have us feeling stuck. And Venus retrograde in cold Capricorn hasn’t yet lifted her curfew on our relational and financial freedom. We may still feel shackled by people and situations, but new hope is rising and new help can be found.
First and foremost, Jupiter, planet of fortune, has left the icy stratosphere of Aquarius to dive into the warm waters of Pisces, water-sign of its rule. Jupiter and Pisces both relate to dreams, faith, and angels, and it’s safe to say that the angels have arrived. If we quiet our minds and listen, we may hear them call us to renew our sense of wonder, release our minds from situations that seem to block us, and reconnect our vision with divine possibilities.
Another important change in the astrological influences for January, 2022 is the North Node’s entrance into Taurus, sign of abundance. Jupiter in Aquarius and North Node may have led to an information glut, with just too many ideas to process, absorb and share. Jupiter in Pisces frees us for more intuitive, flowing interchanges, while the North Node in Taurus, the sign of resources, offers an experience of money-dharma.
The South Node in Scorpio indicates a need for transmutation of old emotional stuff, but the North Node in the sign of manifestation indicates that if we do the work, we will experience a new level of tangible results.
In addition, Uranus, planet of innovation, goes direct, unleashing our ability to express our authentic selves. And Venus, ruled by Uranus, who has been retrograde in strict Saturn, follows suit.
