With Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars all in Virgo, and still on the portal of the Virgo New Moon, September rolls in to renew our desire to serve a higher purpose, and what is even more important, it gives us the inclination to focus and hone in on the daily details necessary for that purpose to be grounded, and also to manifest the wellness required to pull it off.
It’s a nerdy, sobering kind influence that can get bogged down in perfectionism. With demanding Saturn and intense Pluto both in Capricorn, this year’s Virgo alignment makes some really valuable trines. Like Virgo, Capricorn is practical and result-oriented. However, it has a vision and drive that give a new level of manifestation to our apparently simple efforts. And the Virgo influence brings a much-needed breath of fresh earth to Capricorn’s goal orientation, moving us in practical ways to improve, to produce, to heal, to actually walk the Mountain Goat’s path of mastery.

And they can help us gain clarity in relationships, although the Full Moon in Pisces can also have the opposite effect, leading us off the deep end, and to mine its treasure will call for sobriety in order to steer clear of mental potholes, as we will see a bit further on.
Virgo is low-key and rather strict, while Libra is more out-there and glamorous. However, the sign of chastity does relate to reviewing and assessing our progress, as does the Fall Equinox, which is a powerful portal of transmutation. The entire month is a time of reflection, analysis and initiative—particularly those small, daily actions whose accumulated effects makes a difference we long for.
The breakdown:
On Sunday, September 1, Mercury the messenger trines Uranus in Taurus, facilitating communication about financial affairs and environmental concerns. The affirmations we repeat, the ideas and promotions we share, and our connections with others can trigger new avenues of financial supply and new ways of protecting the earth.
On this same day, Venus…
