As the ninth month begins, Sun in Virgo is releasing us from the enchantment of Summer and directing us to finish the year with renewed diligence. The stars facilitate progress. With biggies Saturn, Uranus and Pluto in earth signs, and Jupiter and Neptune in water, the month is studded with harmonies that help ground Virgo’s work ethic in significant results.
Directly and indirectly, the energy of Mars seeps into the month’s cauldron, spiking the brew with a stimulating elixir that keeps us hyped. The planet of action had been retrograde since late June, accentuated since mid-July by Mercury’s shadow and retrograde. If you’ve felt like you’ve been bicycling under a fish net for the last couple of months, now you know why. Now, with Mars newly direct and the messenger planet leaving post-retrograde shadow on September 2, the highway seems to open.
Communicative Mercury and bold Mars are key planets for progress, and they’re not the only ones that come back out of the closet. Worker Saturn and powerful Pluto will also be going direct. With both planets in Capricorn, we’ll be looking at this year’s lessons around discipline and mastery, and the aforementioned harmonies with help us ground our knowledge.
Green lights beckon us to move in business, healing, finances, exposing secrets, work and all things practical.
