The Lunar Eclipse of September 7, 2025 in Pisces brought out the best and worst of mankind, in the elevation of a gifted youth to the hierarchy of Catholic Saints, and the assassination of a popular conservative activist by a troubled underachiever. AAA does a double dip into the cosmic whys and wherefores during this extreme eclipse season.
Holy Millennial, Vat-man! On Sunday, 7 September 2025, the Vatican was the scene of a record-setting ceremony, when Pope Leo XIV consecrated Carlo Acutis as the first Saint of the millennial generation, in an open-air Mass in St Peter’s Square attended by 80,000. Known as “God’s Influencer,” Acutis was a child prodigy with a strongly religious bent who taught himself programming and web design, and created a website documenting hundreds of Eucharistic miracles and Marian apparitions. Acutis died at age 15 in 2006, days after receiving a diagnosis of acute promyelocytic leukemia. Credited posthumously with two miracles, Acutis was proffered for sainthood by Pope Francis I, who beatified him in 2020, in the hope that it would give the next generation of Catholics a relatable role model and attract young people to the faith.
The canonization by Pope Leo coincided with a Lunar Eclipse on the same day, with the Moon in religious/spiritual-minded Pisces, ruling sainthood. The Sun at 15 Virgo conjoined asteroid Carla 1470 at 17 Virgo, the Italian feminine form of Carlo, bringing visibility to the teenaged saint. Also here is Mercury at 9 Virgo, indicating both his youth and student status, as well as the newsworthiness of the occasion.
For sainthood itself, we can look to asteroid Santa 1288 at 27 Scorpio, the Italian feminine form of Saint (as in US cities Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, etc.). Santa forms a T-Square, opposing Uranus at 1 Gemini, squared asteroid Carloo 12339 at 2 Pisces, essentially Carlo with an additional “o.” This establishes the unusual (Uranus) quality of the elevation (as well as Acutis’ tech abilities, also Uranus-ruled), in granting sainthood (Santa) to someone so young; and also speaks to the rapidity (Uranus again) of his elevation (the youngest Catholic Saints, siblings Francisco and Jacinta Marto, aged 9 and 10, had to wait a full century after their deaths before being recognized in 2017 for their connection to the apparitions of Mary at Fatima).
There is no asteroid equivalent to the surname Acutis. However, we can derive alternatives based on the meaning of the name, which descends from the Latin acutus, meaning “sharp.” There is an asteroid Sharp 5426 at 15 Cancer, which lies at the Apex of a Thor’s Hammer, a type of “fated” pattern which implies a special destiny, formed by sesquiquadrate aspects to both Santa and asteroid Carloo, doubly designating Carlo Acutis as a newly-minted saint. Sharp also conjoins Jupiter at 18 Cancer, ruling religions generally, and is squared to a pairing of Mars with asteroid Pappos 29448, at 20 and 16 Libra respectively, suggesting action taken (Mars) by the Pope (Papa in Italian) to elevate Acutis (Sharp) to the hierarchy of Catholic saints (Jupiter).
Born 3 May 1991, Carlo Acutis does indeed seem destined for sainthood, with asteroid Santa at 27 Sagittarius at station, indicating an outsized importance in his biography. Santa is exactly sesquiquadrate the Sun at 12 Taurus, sextile Carloo at 29 Aquarius and inconjunct Carla at 26 Cancer, providing three dynamic personal links to the quality of saintliness. Remarkably, the chart also sports a Mars/Pappos conjunction at 16 & 23 Cancer, as at his canonization, which is squared by the transit Mars/Pappos at the time. Natal asteroid Sharp at 18 Capricorn is also at station, exactly squared by the transit Sun and exactly conjoined by transit asteroid Santa at his death on 12 October 2006, and also exactly opposed by Jupiter for his elevation to sainthood. (Incidentally, its stationary status confirms its applicability as an “Acutis” marker, as embedded points at station indicate enhanced significance in the bio.)
In addition to the Sun squared Santa at his death, asteroids Carla, Carloo and Sharp are also in aspect to the celestial designation of holiness. Carla at 26 Taurus is in trine, Carloo at 17 Leo is inconjunct, and conjoined Sharp at 19 Leo, also inconjunct, trebly affirming Carlo Acutis’ suitability for the honor to come. Carloo and Sharp both conjoin Saturn at 22 Leo, ancient lord of death, and asteroid Anubis 1912 at 23 Leo, named for the Egyptian deity ruling funerary rites, while Carla is in square, signaling his demise.
From Saints to Sinners
Following a two-day manhunt for the assassin of conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson turned himself in after confessing the crime to his father. AAA has already profiled the assassination, sans this data (see that story here), but we’ll fill in the gaps here, and add a thumbnail sketch of the shooter.
There are exact matches for both the suspect’s names, in asteroids Tyler 113333 and Robinson 3819. At the shooting, asteroid Tyler at 15 Libra conjoins Mars at 22 Libra, ruling firearms, attacks, and violent death. Together these congregate on Kirk’s natal Sun at 20 Libra (born 13 October 1993, no time available), and oppose transit Jupiter at 19 Cancer, bringing a form of celebrity (or at any rate, notoriety) to Tyler Robinson.
Asteroid Robinson at 6 Libra joins a cluster of asteroids Gunn 18243 (0 Libra), Atropos 273 (5 Libra) and Losse 340579 (8 Libra), directly connecting him to a weapon (Gunn), his chosen site (Losse, for the Losee Center’s roof where he positioned himself for the shooting) and the deadliness of his aim (Atropos, named for the mythic Greek Fate who severs the thread of life at death).
Incredibly, these connect with a stellium in Kirk’s birth chart, comprising asteroids Requiem 2254 at 2 Libra (funeral mass for the dead), Assafin 28987 at 4 Libra (“assassin” with a cosmic lisp) and Losse, also at 4 Libra.
And that transit Tyler et. al squares asteroid Kirkland 19589 (one of three asteroids which contain “Kirk,” for which there is no solitary match), TNO Ixion28978 and a stationary asteroid Rip 7711 (“RIP”), at 4, 5 and 8 Capricorn respectively.
In Charlie Kirk’s chart, asteroid Tyler at 18 Virgo conjoins asteroid Church 10343 at 16 Virgo (“kirk” is the Scottish word for “church”), opposing asteroid Gunn at 16 Pisces, bringing together assassin (Tyler), victim (Church) and means (Gunn). More to the point, this polarity was closely conjoined and energized by a Lunar Eclipse on September 7, just three days before the shooting, at 15 Pisces/Virgo, prompting the action and subsequent realization of the latent natal potential. Pisces rules both saints and martyrs, which is how the political right is portraying Charlie Kirk, as someone who died for the beliefs they share.
Asteroid Robinson at 2 Scorpio conjoins asteroid Lachesis 120 at 3 Scorpio, named for the mythic Greek Fate who determines the span of life, a role Robinson performed for Kirk.
When we look at Tyler Robinson’s chart (birth date given as 16 April 2003, no time available), we find multiple markers of this outcome. Perhaps the most dramatic indicator is the exact conjunction of asteroids Anubis and Kirkpatrick 9902 at 16 Scorpio, clearly establishing Robinson as having a direct impact (conjunction) on Kirk’s (Kirkpatrick) death (Anubis). This union forms a T-Square, opposing asteroid Requiem at 21 Leo, with a grouping of Neptune (12 Aquarius), Damocles 5335 (17 Aquarius), and asteroids Kirkwood 1578 and Kirkland (at 15 and 20 Aquarius). Neptune suggests fanaticism and perhaps mental health issues; Damocles is the doom hanging unseen overhead (as, indeed, was Robinson, firing undetected from an elevated position); Requiem underscores the fatality of the incident, and the presence of both Kirkwood and Kirkland further confirms the specific target as someone with a name resonating to “Kirk.”
As well, an exact conjunction of asteroids Tyler and Osiris 1923 at 7 Gemini establishes Robinson (Tyler) as an agent of death (Osiris, Egyptian god of the dead); opposing asteroid Robinson at 3 Sagittarius and TNO Ixion at 8 Sagittarius, we see Robinson specifically as a murderer. A T-Square is formed with a pairing of asteroids Atropos and Charlotte 543 at 10 and 13 Virgo, on the fulcrum, pinpointing where this murderous intent is focused (Charlotte is one of two feminine gender English-language variations of Charles, for which there is no exact match), and further identifying Robinson as the bringer of death (Atropos) for Kirk (Charlotte).
A loose Grand Cross is formed with the addition of Uranus at 1 Pisces, conjoined asteroid Gunn at 29 Aquarius, tied closely to the Gemini and Sagittarius placements, but wide of the Virgo points. Uranus rules shootings generally, Gunn represents firearms, and both indisputably square asteroid Church at 0 Gemini, forging another fatal link between the two men.
Robinson’s natal Sun at 26 Aries forms a T-Square with Mars at 26 Capricorn and asteroid Assafin at 19 Cancer. This suggests a temperament inclining toward rage and violence (Mars), with the potential to turn deadly (Assafin). Note also that natal Assafin was exactly conjoined by transit Jupiter for the shooting, bringing in the element of politics.
Natal asteroid Rip at 27 Sagittarius is at station (turning retrograde two days before Robinson’s birth), just as it was for the shooting (turning direct a week prior), conjoined Pluto, modern lord of death and planetary ruler of homicide, at 19 Sagittarius, and opposing Saturn, ancient lord of death, at 24 Gemini. Pluto specifically was also set off by the Lunar Eclipse at 16 Pisces in square which preceded the shooting, also conjoining natal Charlotte. Transit Kirkwood at 20 Sagittarius for Kirk’s death fed directly into this pattern.
Political violence has been on the rise in the US for a decade, since the ascendance of Donald Trump and his patented brand of belittling, threatening, dehumanizing and demonizing perceived opponents. This incident will doubtless lead to more of the same.
