In his new royal biography, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, released 14 August 2025, author Andrew Lownie thoroughly exposes and consistently trashes HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York, Queen Elizabeth II’s second son. Andrew is mercilessly depicted as arrogant, self-serving and in denial about his links to the sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In 2021, one of Epstein’s many victims, Virginia Guiffre, brought a civil suit against Andrew, to whom she alleged Epstein had trafficked her at age 17. The suit was settled out of court in March 2022 for a reported $16 million, with a substantial portion of the award to go to Giuffre’s sex trafficking charity.
Andrew has always reveled in his bad boy, black sheep image among the Royal Family, but that persona may be wearing thin. Already on thin ice in many regards, the hit from this bio to his reputation and standing may well prevent any hope of his rehabilitation. “Entitled” is packed chockablock with new revelations of sex and money scandals, in 450+ pages, based on hundreds of interviews given over four years of research.
The Giuffre civil suit and settlement blotted the copybook for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, and Andrew has been persona non grata among his family ever since. Brother Charles III, Andrew’s new landlord at his Royal Lodge residence in Windsor Great Park, even tried to kick him out after their mother’s death, but the parties came to an understanding before the Prince actually became homeless.
The timing for the release of the book, which delves deeply into Andrew’s Epstein connections, couldn’t be better from a cosmic point of view, with asteroid Epstein 2928 at1 Aries coming to its station exactly conjunct planetary powerhouses Saturn and Neptune. Saturn represents criticism, censure and punishment, the harsh light of stark reality; Neptune governs secrets, subterfuge and denial, our fantasies of how things should be. (The period of Epstein’s station also coincided with a huge fracas on the other side of the pond, when Donald Trump’s Justice Department failed to release the files on Epstein and his crimes, as previously promised, so Epstein is once again Big News, as his celestial referent reaches a pivotal stage.)
The Saturn/Neptune/Epstein union opposes Mars at 4 Libra, associated with sex, and forms a Grand Cross by squares to TNOs Chaos 19521 4 Cancer and Ixion 28978 at 5 Capricorn. Chaos is just what it sounds like – turmoil, disruption and anarchy, all of which are likely to ensue for Andrew from this bio, while among Ixion’s keywords is “entitlement,” with “Entitled” the very title of the book!
And speaking of books, that’s Mercury’s bailiwick, and the planet of literature and news also came to its station at 4 Leo during the period, on August 11th. Mercury forms a second Grand Cross, opposing Pluto at 2 Aquarius, associated with sex, scandal and criminal conduct; and squared to asteroids Maxwell 12760 at 1 Taurus, reflective of Epstein’s cohort and facilitator Ghislaine Maxwell (who initially recruited Giuffre); and Andree 1296 at 1 Scorpio, the French and Portuguese form of “Andrew,” for which there is no exact asteroid match. As well, asteroid Virginia at 3 Aquarius conjoins Pluto, which also has affinities with rape or coercive sex, here representing Virginia Guiffre. So we have here the image of a biography (Mercury) about Andrew (Andree), involving an Epstein co-conspirator (Maxwell) and one of their victims (Virginia), who was trafficked specifically to the prince.
Putting further red meat on the cosmic bone, there’s a cluster of points lying in mid-Virgo, on the midpoint between Mercury and Andree, roughly semisquare each. These include asteroids Karma 3811 (15 Virgo), Prinz 4595 (17 Virgo) and Achilles 588 (20 Virgo). Karma is the results of our actions; Prinz is the German word for “prince;” and Achilles represents a weak point, vulnerability and exposure (as in “Achilles heel”). That about says it all: a member of royalty (Prinz) whose former misdeeds (Karma) are exposed, making him vulnerable (Achilles). Even the source of this vulnerability for Andrew from prior acts can be seen in Achilles’ exact conjunction with Andrew’s natal asteroid Epstein!
This zodiacal zone is also home to additional points which further define the circumstances. Asteroids Pandora 55, Roberts 3428 and Geoffroy 12896 (at 7, 10 and 14 Virgo) immediately precede the grouping discussed above, with Pandora suggesting the release of unintended consequences through misguided or ill-advised actions; Roberts signaling Virginia Giuffre by her maiden name (which was how Andrew would have known her); and Geoffroy another alternate for Jeffrey. Certainly when Jeffrey Epstein introduced Virginia Roberts Giuffre to Andrew, the prince little guessed the Pandora’s box of ills that would be unleashed decades later.
The threat of impending peril for Andrew this year has been further represented by asteroid York 28220 (currently 3 Pisces), his ducal title, which has been traveling with Damocles 5335 (currently 4 Pisces) throughout the twelvemonth. Damocles represents the doom or destruction hanging unseen overhead (as in “Sword of Damocles”), and while Andrew has successfully navigated the threat of the loss of his home, it remains to be seen if he can weather the firestorm of criticism and opprobrium unleashed by “Entitled.” With the ongoing York/Damocles conjunction now in square to Uranus (0 Gemini), governing shock, controversy and socially unacceptable behaviors, that redemption seems unlikely.
Gilding the cosmic lily, asteroid Ghislaine 7112 at 29 Taurus joins Uranus, squared York/Damocles, injecting Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell into the picture once again. And asteroid Hebe 6 at 6 Pisces, named for Zeus’ ever-youthful daughter, conjoins Damocles/York, pinpointing underage, nubile females (Hebe) as a potential source of peril (Damocles) for the prince (York).
A Venus/Jupiter pairing at 14 and 16 Cancer, opposed asteroid Britten 4079 at 21 Capricorn (homophone of Britain), in a T-Square with TNO Salacia 120347 at 12 Aries, calls to mind the publication (Jupiter) of a book detailing a British (Britten) Royal’s (Jupiter) scandalous (Salacia, root of our word “salacious”) love life (Venus).
Born 19 February 1960 at 3:30 PM GMT in London, England (Rodden Rating AA). Prince Andrew’s nativity offers hints of the present debacle. The 0 Pisces Sun is conjoined by centaur Chiron 2060 at 27 Aquarius, signaling a wounded maverick (both Chiron). A Grand Cross is formed by an opposition to Pluto at 5 Virgo, with squares to centaur Nessus 7066 at 24 Aquarius and asteroid Prinz at 9 Gemini, and asteroid York at 28 Scorpio. This doubly identifies Andrew, both in his royal status (Prinz) and future title (York), adding to the self-defining element of the Sun, and highly personalizing these energies to him. Pluto has affinities with obsession, sex and scandal, as well as criminal acts, while Nessus is named for a mythic centaur who attempted to rape Heracles’ wife after offering her a piggyback ride across a flooded river, and is a symbol of “men behaving badly,” particularly in a sexual context. Pluto resonates to rape as well, in his abduction of Persephone, and Andrew’s alleged contact with Giuffre would constitute statutory rape, even if consent was given by the 17-year-old.
An exact conjunction of the Moon with asteroid Hebe at 25 Scorpio suggests an emotionally intimate (Moon) connection with young girls (Hebe), which may have become more problematic after Andrew “upgraded” to the York title, with asteroid York also cojoined from 28 Scorpio, again personally reinforcing this innate tendency.
The principals in Andrew’s Epstein saga are also powerfully represented, starting with asteroid Epstein at 20 Virgo opposing Mercury at 17 Pisces, indicating an association that could propel Andrew into the news (Mercury) at some point. Mercury also rules children and adolescents generally, with Epstein here acting as a facilitator or conduit (both Mercury). Asteroid Virginia in a T-Square from 22 Sagittarius identifies the specific individual Epstein allegedly procured for the prince.
Virginia Giuffre is also represented by asteroid Roberts at 13 Leo, her maiden name, which conjoins Uranus at 18 Leo, both on the 11 Leo Ascendant. Roberts/Uranus depicts an unorthodox, unconventional, socially unacceptable connection, something which stirs controversy. The Ascendant is our public face, how others see us, and individuals with PNAs (Personal-Named Asteroids) attached to it have the power to alter how we are viewed, which certainly occurred when Guiffre brought her court case.
Angular contacts typically indicate persons of special importance in the biography, for good or ill. In addition to Roberts on the Ascendant, Andrew sports angular placements for asteroid Geoffroy, at 25 Aries on the 22 Aries Midheaven, governing reputation, status and place in the world; and asteroids Ghislaine and Jeffrich 262295 (another Jeffrey variant) at 16 and 17 Aquarius on the 11 Aquarius Descendant, describing how we interact with others. Also with Ghislaine and Jeffrich is Damocles at 12 Aquarius, prophesying a threat or peril to ensue for interaction with persons of those names; and asteroid Achilles at 11 Aquarius, denoting an inherent weakness or vulnerability which threatens to destroy the native. As well, asteroid Maxwell at 8 Capricorn exactly opposes asteroid Nemesis 128 at 8 Cancer, a source of ruin and destruction.
Prince Andrew may not be destroyed by this biography and his past associations with Epstein and Maxwell, but it’s certainly a step in that direction.
