This lunar placement also favors inner work, abetted by Venus tensions which guide us to increase our love radiation. Venus in tender Cancer squares serious Saturn and mysterious Neptune, spurring us to see how the changes in our once-secure world connect with our values, desires, finances, and affectional nature. Another Venus aspect, a quincunx to transformative Pluto, strengthens us to break out of a rut in one or more of these areas. Creativity is fueled, we can generate beauty and joy in the midst of change, bring our own values to bear, and radiate love for our direction and ourselves.
The Venus influences blend nicely with Moon’s Second Quarter, exact at 5:41 am (8:41 ET) and inviting us to pause to review the intentions we set at last week’s New Moon, and reset for progress.
Early morning favors activities such as journaling, therapy, dream work, forgiveness, visualization and heart-centered meditation. Take a deep dive in alignment with today’s strong, positive potential and to avoid unnecessary blocks in emotions, interactions and finances.

Venus is still in orb of yesterday’s tensions with outer planets, while Moon in Scorpio spotlights transformation through inner experience, determination, and looking beneath the surface.
Today’s numerology of 2, ruled by the Moon, makes us want to cuddle, and favors interaction with family and dear ones. Venus in quincunx to Moon’s ruler Pluto can make for passion or relational obsessions. If a relationship is stressful, today would fuel the need for resolution, as well as our nerve to take on the challenge. If this issue doesn’t currently apply, we can also declutter, research a possible move or life change, and do inner work.
At 6:07 pm (9:07 ET), Moon goes VOC on sextile to coruler hot Mars. We can enjoy a hot bath or a thriller.

At 1:00 pm (4:00 ET) Moon in this sign of the broadcaster trines loquacious Mercury, great for teaching or sharing inspiration, and for communication of all kinds, including: going live on social networks, promotion, sales, and doing group prayer.

At 10:04 am (1:04 ET), Moon enters responsible Capricorn, and continues to make energizing, potentially irritating tensions to rebel Uranus, strong Saturn, and spacy Neptune—aspects that are low on emotional intelligence but high on energy to make changes and dissolve obsolete structures and situations. We can direct our creativity and executive spirit in independent activities:

- High finances
- Reorganizing a home-building project or an area of one’s life that’s become scattered or disrupted

This is the last morning of Mars’ transit through diligent Virgo, a more supportive sign for the planet of action than Libra, which the warrior planet enters at 4:23 pm (7:23 ET). Mars is now activating the last, anaretic degree of Virgo, sharpening intuition. We can consult our guardian angel and spirit guides before taking action in any of the areas favored by Moon in Capricorn:
- Making practical headway
- Organizing our finances or another area of our lives that needs it
- Applying our leadership and executive qualities
- Activities relating to work or business
- A building or renovation project
- Helping an elder
- High finances
- Administration

We’re on the portal of tomorrow’s Full Moon. Evening is good for connecting, research, and bold action.
For most of the day, Moon is VOC in Capricorn.
The VOC hours are good for decluttering and inner work, especially forgiveness, to get into sync with tonight’s lunar activation of the minor grand triangle. This is an historic configuration which is now perfecting. It adds cosmic power to our thoughts, words and communications. Mars newly in Libra, ruler of the also historic Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries, also comes on board. And, tonight’s Moon in Aquarius trines the brave planet, which opposes Saturn-Neptune, to turn the triangle into a kite and precipitate action.
We can try and use part or most of the VOC to get into top vibrational form through our preferred inner work before 6:18 pm (9:18 ET), when Moon enters Aquarius and proceeds to trigger the configuration described above, finishing her rounds at 10:23 pm (1:23 am ET) with a conjunction to intense Pluto!
During these evening hours, we can take assertive action to connect with like-minded friends, break out of a rut or an obsolete pattern, fight for a cause, close a cycle, or sow something to further social justice, creativity, independence, or our authentic individuality.
