Affirmative astrology for challenging times

October’s Aries Full Moon Tips for Sun and Rising Signs

By Crystal Pomeroy

This month’s Full Moon, the Hunter’s Moon, is in harmony with Jupiter the liberator and squares Pluto the transformer. This Aries Full Moon helps us release our doubts, set a limit, close a cycle, or take decisive action of some kind. If possible, sidestep direct confrontation, but do find a way to move. This will tell our subconscious that we’re serious about change, connecting us with supportive synchronicities and paving our path of power. Read the suggestions for both Sun and Rising signs.

Aries Full Moon Tips for Sun and Rising Signs

Aries

Through your interactions with others, you’ve been gaining clarity about what you really want, and this Full Moon supports that process and moves you to release the distractions that have been limiting your personal progress and fulfillment in partnership.

Taurus

The Full Moon portal triggers your Twelfth House. For the rest of the signs, this would mark a call to rest, but you actually need activity to relax. Break with routine in a way that activates your sense of spiritual connection. Depending on your mood and inclinations, you might go on a retreat or nature sojourn, take a spiritual workshop, visit a therapist, guide, or coach, work on an artistic project, or perhaps help out at a hospice.

Gemini

The Full Moon takes place in your Eleventh House of friends, ideals and groups. It invites you to release trivial connections and take action to enrich your mind and social circle in ways that connect you with your life’s larger purpose.

Cancer

The Full Moon takes place in your Tenth House, putting your worldly goals in the spotlight and inviting you to set some limits in relationships and creating order in home routines so that you can act on your opportunities in focused, assertive fashion.

Leo

This portal can be a way-opener, particularly if you avoid a posible power struggle and focus on pursuing a wish related to academic progress, a change of beliefs, or something related to distant lands.

Virgo

The Full Moon portal triggers your Eighth House, of change, intimacy and shared projects. Act to follow through on a commitment or promise, break a habit, or seek out a dear one. Asking for what you need and giving something you have offered will put you in a position to act on an upcoming financial opportunity.

Libra

Release concern for others’ approval and move bravely to connect with the public or with someone who could be a strong ally: a client, a partner, or your better half.

Scorpio

This lunation triggers your Sixth House of work, service, and health. It’s time to ask for support, set a limit or take decisive action to improve your health or productivity. Be diplomatic, but act assertively. The only thing to fear is passivity.

Sagittarius

The Full Moon portal triggers your Fifth House, supporting you to close a cycle with apparent friends who actually only distract you from a creative project, romance, your children, or a particularly fortunate opportunity that beckons you to act.

Capricorn

This Full Moon triggers your Fourth House, and squares Pluto on its transit through your sign. Act decisively to break free of apparent limitations at home, to help a family member, for emotional healing, or in a real estate deal. This will ultimately facilitate connections with people or strategies that facilitate your goals.

Aquarius

The Full Moon triggers your Third House of communications, sales, and ties with colleagues and siblings. Sun in Libra has your head in the clouds and this Moon helps you come down to earth, take care of bureaucracy and follow up on important messages, calls and communications.

Pisces

The present Full Moon can bring breakthroughs in your self-esteem and finances. Release concern for the approval of others and take whatever step you can to explore a business or creative initiative you’ve been secretly considering.
