We have reached the portal of the Full Moon in Sagittarius, exact on Monday, June 17, but active through Wednesday, June 20.
Because it occurs in June, this full moon is called the Honey Moon. This special portal is actually the origin of the name for the newlyweds’ trip, because it is connected to the sensual, bright nights and the sweet fertility of these dates, when bees produce their first harvest of honey.
This year it comes before another portal, that of Summer Solstice, marking the shortest night of the year and the so-called “cusp of magic” between analytic Gemini and emotional Cancer.
In the chart of the Full Moon, feisty Mars has a strong presence, which could fuel aggressive, unthinking manner.
For this ritual, have on hand a yellow candle, a stick of strawberry incense and some honey-containing treat, like bread, cookies or candy, or if you prefer, mead or strawberry tea sweetened with honey.
- Light a stick of strawberry incense while repeating:
This is an offering for the spiritual essences of summer, for the flowers, the berries, the bees and the angels.
- Light a yellow candle as you repeat:
Like the light of the Summer Sun that reflects in this Moon, the Angels of Solstice fill my space and aura, and with their radiance dissolve unnecessary, wearing battles, as they guide me to focus on worthwhile challenges that contribute to my evolution and that of others now.
Continue repeating during 5 minutes.

Just as the honey sweetens my tongue, so the spirits of summer sweeten my mind, melting away unnecessary aggression and focusing my being on those challenges that are worth facing now. I see myself sweetened, I see humanity sweetened, I see the angels that are guiding us in sweet and worthy victories now.
