Enter a Life More Abundant and Bless Earth’s Flora by the Dark of the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus

By Crystal Pomeroy

The present Solar Eclipse-New Moon can trigger our entrance into a life more abundant. This type of eclipse is called annular—from Latin annularis, meaning ring—because the Moon crosses in front of the Sun, but doesn’t cover it entirely, leaving a golden circle of sunlight all around the the moon’s rim.

This eclipse won’t be visible unless you happen to be in Australia, Antarctica, certain areas of the Pacific and Indian oceans, or perhaps in some higher dimension. But its astrological effect will be greater than the lunar eclipse two weeks ago. The present one intensifies the effects of the New Moon and helps us move beyond those old feelings of unworthiness that slink around in our subconscious minds, subtly sabotaging our ability to succeed and enjoy life.

In the sign of Taurus, this lunation also connects with Jupiter and Venus, spotlighting prosperity, manifestation and values—including how we value ourselves. It’s no coincidence that these areas are related. To the extent we don’t deem ourselves worthy, we subconsciously block the good that naturally flows to us from the Unlimited Source. And this happens all the time in what I call the Culture of Sacrifice we grow up in. Each of us has registered the “you don’t deserve it” message in one or more situations: parents, siblings, school, church, or simply as part of the field of collective belief that good is limited and there’s not enough for everyone.

When we shift our inner relationship to abundance, things can flow according to their greatest potential. However, as anyone who has worked on themselves knows, inner change is gradual, and in matters related to Taurus, progress can seem like pushing through shin-deep mud. This eclipse can be compared to a trap door that opens to let the mud of unworthiness move out.

The solar ring that shines on high evokes the unity of all life, and the following keys are designed to help you eclipse subconscious feelings of unworthiness as we empower our positive growth and at the same time bless the forests and flora—our guardians of natural abundance—around the planet.

  • Choose a goal or blessing that you deeply desire, but at the same time subtly doubt that you deserve, or don’t quite feel worthy of receiving.
  • Light a stick of floral incense, as you watch the smoke rise, know that you are offering it to your guardian angels and guides. Mentally request that they bless your intentions.
  • Light a green candle and as you do, say,

“I call on the angels of abundance and all green things that grow.”

  • For several minutes, visualize a web of flora around the planet: trees, bushes, cactus, grass, ferns, moss and so on. See this network grow and expand as green things once again cover the planet.
  • Put your intention for greater good before you in this network, and see how it also grows and bears fruit of finished results.
  • Repeat words like those that follow during 7 minutes or more, slowly as you direct them to your inmost self:

From the omnipresent field of love, this manifestation comes forth where I am, and I am worthy, I am worthy of receiving it now.

Follow up by spending several minutes daily with the visualization and affirmations, for 14 days or longer.

Eclipse tips for your sun and rising sign

Aries

Clarify your ideas and goals of wealth and allow it to flow as you invest or refrain from investing according to your inmost values and guidance.

Taurus

Consider whether your image feels authentic and allow yourself to visualize, invest in and adjust it accordingly. Care for your physical health, while holding to the certainty that you deserve to be well.

Gemini

Your spiritual self is most important, release busy-ness that distracts you from working on your dreams, contact with angels, or other forms of soul travel you long to cultivate and in which you can now receive major breakthroughs.

Cancer

Recreate your close social network. Allow yourself to distinguish between acquaintances and friends and release those that aren’t empowering as you actively cultivate enriching connections.

Leo

Prepare to receive new opportunities in your work, status and goals and take care of your inner child by releasing commitments and approaches that may seem attractive, but in fact produce discomfort, pain or simply don’t feel right.

Virgo

Release your doubts and make the move to broader your educational, philosophical or geographical horizons. And see the movie “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.z’

Libra

Ask yourself where you first registered the idea of unworthiness and reclaim your natural right to desire the best. Then affirm: Whether or not others agree, I allow myself to receive the success and happiness that are here for me now.

Scorpio

You don’t need to put up with draining relationships. Visualize giving and receiving the best and don’t settle for less.

Sagittarius

Stop postponing your intentions for self-care. Send your body and entire being a message by beginning that program of exercise, nutrition and wellness that you have been thinking about for too long now.

Capricorn

The time has come, the walrus said, to stop being so serious and make a space for fun in honor of the child within as well as children without. The results—which you, dear Cappy, are always tabulating—will surprise you.

Aquarius

You so enjoy your freedom, Aquarius, yet this eclipse brings your attention home. Focus on making it a center of heartfelt love, and work to release attitudes or situations that might block this.

Pisces

Your thoughts and self-expression are the key to a new phase of abundance. Start a program of daily affirmations and/or perfect your chosen means of self-expression in preparation for opportunities that will arise to sing your song.

Your insightful words are welcome. Optimism feels good. As a rough dabbling dilettante in astrology, I must say, of all the astrological readings I’ve perused about this event, yours feels the best. Good to have your words again. Like Boccherini”s cello concerto in spring at a park with the healthy and abundant round and rich tones rolling across the green touching and moving everyone and everything with lush, happy, sensual harmonies.
