Jessica Murray trained as a fine artist before graduating in 1973 from Brown University, where she studied psychology and linguistics. After a stint in political theatre in the heady early ’70s, Jessica moved to San Francisco and began studying metaphysics, where she has had a full-time private practice in astrology for more than 30 years. Thank you for your insight and information. I find it timely, and as others are, I am certainly feeling its intensity. Powerfully sacred times we are in. I feel that we are all being called to clear our slate. Let go of all that does not serve us and simplify our lives. This will bring us in to clarity and allow us to be more in touch and connected with our Higher Spirit and one another for the common good of all. I have been working on that as well. Thank you for your insight and confirmations. The intense energy shifts have become a fact of life as we are in this much needed time of change and I agree that “normal” is no where in sight. There are so many variables in the air, it’s challenging to predict what will be next or if there is some action that we ought to take. Meditation, clearing of my personal story and staying present are the best strategies that I can utilize.

As usual, you hit the nail on the head with your analysis! I’m a (beginning) Astrologer myself, and I’m in total agreement with this. This does indeed feel like a time of shocking awakenings (Uranus) and being shaken out of our Lethargy. It’s been exciting to be alive at a time when the Truth keeps coming out, and secrets can no longer be kept hidden (from sexual affairs to public corruption). Thank you for your brilliant writing!

We hear that the economic czars are dumping trillions of dollars worth of cash into the global financial system. But what does this really mean?
It doesn’t mean they have magically created more wealth. It means that they have created more debt; financial as well as karmic.
Can you help me understand how the economic czars have created more debt?

Very good astrological information. I find as near to perfect resonance as can be in this column’s insights. Whenever I read some of Ms. Murray’s work, suddenly the feelings in my personal experience find clarity, reason, and synchronistic sense. I don’t have the expertise to write a column and I’m too busy with my own efforts at creativity to devote the time to yet another field, but reading a column of such penetrating and precise vision gives me something important and valuable in these unique times.
