Yes, Saturn in Libra can be even an antidote to the dumbening of mankind and especially – but not only – America (see Italy where America Tv System was imported massively as it is and what results it had in dumbening people!) though I think that alone it is insufficient, and we have also to consider that Satur is retrograde so it is waning. Sure, it will return in charge, the fight is not over, but let us not expect immediate illumination in the public mind.

Mass mind is very inertial, it needs time and many shocks to awaken, hard to be said but so it is…

And consider another point in this **complex** equation (hoping it is not an equation beyond the fifth degree…)
Either people will see an answer to their problems and requests or they will back a different, new in the for, devious form of Fascism that in Italy we are seeing right now in “embryo” form…
The protests we have seen up to now are all inside the System. Consider the “autoregulative” mechanism existing in present System: The opposition re-enters inside the Big Game. And these are the Tea Parties for instance, while we should look for a prime number, a number irreducible to others but the Unity, the One I mean…
This mechanism of self-regulation of the System for which we have become incapable of seeing beyond its limits should be stopped… Easy to be said but only if this happens a real change can happen without coming back to devious forms of Fascism…

A “bird” told me that this is possible and will be, for example by means of the intervention of factors we actually do not see or consider…

Reality is, very few Americans tune in to listen to pundits, if you look at actual listener/viewership numbers.

What you are talking about is not a phenomenon in which most Americans are participating. The Beltway “echo chamber” is used by the ruling oligarchy to control their inside the Beltway & Wall Street minions whose livelihoods depend upon maintaining and controlling the corporate take-over of government that has been going on unabated, unchecked, and uncontrolled, since the “neo-con” corporate Republicans taking power of government beginning with Nixon, running through Reagan, the Congressional takeover in the 1990s, and the culmination of it with Bush/Cheney.

Jessica your astute observations are pertinent to all the English speaking countries I spend time in, which does not include the USA by the way.
There does not appear to be much in the way of “reporting” – just parroting – in our various news media. The “investigative” programs rarely focus on anything controversial or ask us challenging questions. Most movies and television programs are about scaring us witless or dumbing us down. Our politicians seem to forget that they have any public to “represent.” I believe that many people are aware and are struggling to find a way to stay informed and to bring about a refreshing change to the “news/information freeze” that has spread around the globe. Thank you for being one of them.

I truly hope those embracing this current plethora of undermining bloviations—counter to needed changes—at some point find clarity in the subterfuge of often dubious and corrupt agendas. Consequences can prove to be a bitter pill.

Thank you for writing, Maria. This column–“America in Transition” — does not take on the whole world, so input from non-Americans would be a wonderful addition if you feel like sharing your ideas.

In Zen Buddhism there is a phrase “Your mind is a mirror
    without dust.”
I find your lucidity likened to a lighthouse during this time of turbulent emotional and intellectual seachanges.
I thank you, thank you, thank you for your public offerings of
