Here we go again. If you’re counting, this makes three criminal indictments in four months, in three separate jurisdictions. I’m going to step out on a limb here and opine that this has got to be a record. On August 1st, 2023, Special Counsel Jack Smith dropped the other shoe he was holding, indicting Donald J. Trump on four charges in relation to his attempts to overturn the 2020 election: conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
If you’re a purist like me, you might be dismayed to see that “seditious conspiracy” didn’t make its way onto the list, but there are sound practical reasons for its omission. That charge, while emotionally satisfying, is a much tougher one to prove, and would likely have included co-defendants, as in the documents case, a complicating factor potentially extending the timeline of the trial. Bottom line, what’s important here is that Trump be brought to justice for something, even if the full panoply of his misdeeds is never addressed. As is, this case is streamlined and well-focused, and should be prosecutable before the 2024 election, with its Washington DC venue, and a judge who hasn’t already proven her obeisance to Trump.
The cosmos is less interested in the political dynamics than the realities, taking a Dragnet-style, “just the facts, Ma’am,” stance. And as ever, the skies portrayed those facts in crystal-clear celestial vignettes of the terrestrial acts.
The indictment was released at about 5:30 PM EDT, and a chart set then for the DC venue of the upcoming trial shows asteroid Washingtonia 886 at 17 Sagittarius rising on the 25 Sagittarius Ascendant. Also conjoined is asteroid Tanya 2127 at 3 Capricorn, for Tanya Chutkan, the judge appointed to oversee the trial. Tanya opposes asteroid Nemesis 128 at 4 Cancer (broadly conjoined the 25 Gemini Descendant), an homage to her role as a potential agent of ruin or destruction for Trump, but casting her as a cosmic avenger regardless of the outcome. It’s certain that Trump will view her as an opponent, another Nemesis keyword, however impartial her rulings may be.
Also on the Descendant is asteroid Lie 26955, highlighting the real basis for the indictment – that Trump knowingly spread false allegations about electoral fraud and engaged in acts designed to further his attempt to illegally retain power. The 45-page “speaking” indictment refers exhaustively to just how many of Trump’s own employees, staff and allies confirmed to him that the election had been fair, he had lost, and his accusations were without merit, leaving little doubt that Trump is guilty of willful misrepresentation. Further emphasizing the underlying issue of fraud and deception is Neptune, planetary ruler of the same, which at 27 Pisces is closely squaring the horizontal axis.
We’ve discussed before the ongoing conjunction of asteroids Troemper 28130 (our celestial referent for The Donald) and Karma 3811, effective for some two years, affording a protracted period of Trump being called to account for his actions (Karma). That conjunction remains in force, with Troemper at 2 Pisces also conjoined Damocles 5335 at 1 Pisces, the doom hanging overhead, and Saturn at 5 Pisces, punishment in the offing. Asteroid d’Arrest 9133 squares this grouping from 1 Sagittarius, confirming Trump’s arrest on new charges. A Grand Cross is completed by asteroid Whitehouse 4036 at 6 Gemini, signaling a former president is involved, and Mercury at 5 Virgo, making this big news.
The indictment came on the day of a Full Moon at 9 Aquarius/Leo, with the Moon advanced to 11 Aquarius by its release. Full Moons signal completion and fruition, the high point of a cycle, and with this charge the investigative portion of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s work, begun just nine months before, is largely finished. A T-Square with Jupiter at 13 Taurus represents the involvement of the courts and judicial system. As well, the Full Moon polarity highlighted Trump’s natal Pluto at 10 Leo and a pairing of asteroids Jackschmitt 7749 (“Jack Smith” in German) and Justitia 269 (named for the Roman goddess of justice) at 15 and 18 Aquarius, evoking the natal potential for the Special Counsel (Jackschmitt) and the Justice Department (Justitia) to wreak havoc on Trump, potentially destroying him (Pluto).
Asteroid Jackschmitt in the chart appears at 24 Aries, opposing asteroid Donn 4689 at 20 Libra, casting prosecutor and defendant in their opposed roles as antagonists; a T-Square with Pluto at 28 Capricorn hints at possibly devastating outcomes. The Jackschmitt/Donn polarity conjoins the chart’s MC/IC axis at 17 Libra/Aries, granting angular force and power, with Trump (Donn) the focus of all eyes (MC) and Smith (Jackschmitt) the foundation of the situation (IC).
Asteroid Smith 3351 (also for Jack Smith) at 22 Taurus is an exact match for Uranus (controversy, shocking developments and volatility) and also travels with asteroids Justitia and Themis 24 (her Greek counterpart) at 25 and 28 Taurus, further reinforcing Smith’s cosmic street creds as an agent of justice. These straddle Trump’s 24 Taurus MC, affecting his career, status and place in the world, and also incorporating his natal asteroid Lie at 17 Taurus, which, again, is the crux of the indictment. (Natally, asteroid Smith at 22 Virgo exactly squares Trump’s 22 Gemini Sun, identifying him (Smith) as someone vital to his self-image (Sun), with whom Trump comes into conflict (square).)
Another day, another indictment; it’s all becoming routine, isn’t it? It will be interesting to see how Donald Trump juggles court dates and campaign rallies, in another precedent-smashing political season for the US in 2024. Will no one rid us of this turbulent ex-president? Perhaps Jack Smith is just the man for the job.
