Hello friends! You’ll notice that Daykeeper looks a little different this month. What you’re seeing is a work in progress… our first steps towards a brighter look that will take us into the next few years at a state-of-the-art level. We’re using a new platform, WordPress, which will help us do more—bring you more great astrology—with less effort, which is a good deal all around.
One of the most exciting new features is the ability of readers to comment directly on our articles. I’m really looking forward to hearing what you all have to say. (The comments are moderated to keep out any spam or abuse.)
Meanwhile, don’t be alarmed if something on the site is missing or doesn’t quite work the way you’re used to. We’re still in the process of porting over pages and links from the old interface. Ultimately, everything will be linked up in an even more usable and friendly way. We’re also still refining the “look” of the site, and it will probably look slightly different, for a while, every time you log in. Our intention is not to disorient you… we’re working hard to get everything ship-shape.
Meanwhile, thanks for your patience, feedback and suggestions, as we prepare to move into the second decade of the 21st century.

Dear Susan,
Thank you for all of your hard work, but certainly a blessed “creator”. It looks very goood so far!

I have a wide monitor too and still have to scroll. Firefox looks alright but Safari not good.
Any increase in font size for the users blow the site out too.
I know cross-browser compatibility is difficult when doing a site. Different browsers, different monitor sizes. Endless tweaking.

I have a 17 inch monitor and this new site is way too wide…no one likes to scroll to the right very much. Just an idea ;0)
Susan Pomeroy says
Hi Kristy, I do agree with you, sideways scrolling is awful. But the site should be fine on a 17 inch monitor—we tested on 13″. I’m wondering if you have your pixel count set low? I’ll try to test on a greater variety of monitor to see if I can tell what’s going on. I’m curious to know whether others have this problem.

Careful with spelling: one link in today’s email reads–
daykeeprjournal.com
which leads to some strange little site riding on your coattails.
Best of luck with the new site…
Vincent
