Maya's March 2006 Travel Advisory

by Maya del Mar

March can be a difficult travel month. The two major travel planets, Mercury and Jupiter, both turn retrograde in early March. Ordinarily it’s OK to travel during those retrogrades—although not on the days on which they turn—but when they are stressed, glitches can be magnified. It is Mercury that is stressed, by picking up much Pluto energy as he turns. Thus he has Pluto on the mind during the whole retrograde. And Pluto can be a killer. Also remember that it’s best not to start your trip during VOC Moon times. There are many of those periods this month.

March 1-4. Poor, especially March 2 and 4, when Mercury and Jupiter make their retrograde stations.

March 5. Fine, except for VOC between 3:14 a.m. and 9:38 a.m. EST.

March 6. OK.

March 7. Not so good. Also Moon is VOC from 11:09 a.m.-5:38 p.m.

March 8. Excellent.

March 9. Excellent except after 3:41 p.m., when Moon goes VOC.

March 10-11. Problematical.

March 12. Fine until Moon goes VOC at 10:38 a.m.

March 13. Not so good. We may be nervous and shaky.

March 14. No. Lunar Eclipse with a dominating Pluto influence.

March 15-16. OK.

March 17. No. Sun square Pluto can invite trouble, plus VOC most of the day.

March 18. OK during the day. Could be reckless at night.

March 19. Again, daytime better.

March 20-21. Fine.

March 22. OK after Moon enters Capricorn at 10:36 a.m. EST.

March 23. Fine.

March 24. OK after Moon enters Aquarius at 2:21 p.m.

March 25. Good.

March 26. Excellent except during VOC time from 10:18 a.m.-3:33 p.m.

March 27. Excellent.

March 28. Problematical.

March 29. No. Solar Eclipse and Pluto retrograde.

March 30. OK except VOC time 10:41 a.m.-4:01.

March 31. Excellent.
