Note: These influences are working during the entire month, and form a substrate for each individual day. The deep underground work of last month continues throughout June. I see it as the last hurrah of Saturn in security-minded Cancer, in tandem with the overblown expectations of Jupiter-Uranus. Next month, Saturn moves into Leo, and many authority figures will come down to earth with a thud. June is Gemini time—time
of the twins, of weddings, of ideas, and of connections. Our nervous
systems are geared up now, ready to move our mouths or our bodies at
a moment’s notice. This is a prime month for communication. During the last half of June, Mercury travels in Cancer, a very emotional sign. Mercury’s rationality will be tempered by Cancer’s sensitivity to feelings which, like the Moon’s phases, are ever-changing. Our communication will be feeling-oriented, thus more subject to judgment and to subjectivity, and less clear as well. The image of the twins
fits the character of June itself. The month is split into more or less
two halves. The first half if dominated by Gemini’s relentless
reasonableness and Pluto’s bottom-line criteria. The days of June
2 and June 7 especially demonstrate these energies. Communicator Mercury is chasing Venus all month. By June 27 it reaches that planet of relationships, in the final degree of nurturing Cancer, conjoining realist Saturn. This degree is also very close to the Saturn return of GW Bush. He starts a major new 30-year cycle with Mercury and Venus marking its character. His sense of responsibility for the next 30 years will be very personal, very emotional, and very oriented towards his values and desires. Mars makes a major change this month. At about the same time as Sun moves from extroverted Gemini to receptive Cancer, Mars changes from gentle Pisces to gung-ho Aries. Mars is the warrior, ready to rush into battle, asking for challenges. It feels very much at home in the first, and most aggressive sign, Aries. Mars is goal-oriented, and in Aries there are no holds barred in going after what Mars wants. Aries begins the zodiac cycle, and all planets make a new start when they enter Aries. This new Mars cycle will last for two years, and will include a six-month sojourn in Taurus, which begins at the end of July. Mars enters Aries on June 11. Notice what the next few days bring in the way of changes. July will bring a major change in the energy picture. During June we are completing a two-to-three-year pattern during which the focus is on security. Beginning in July, the focus changes to conflict amongst power centers. Work with energy will move ahead—but against resistance. We will encounter more conflict in our personal lives. June is a transition month. Pallas Athena nearly standing still in late Virgo is another dominant feature of June. Pallas has savvy. She really knows how to do things, how to put things together, how to be efficient, and how to defend. In Virgo she is a wonderful analyst and a great healer. She helps in learning any skill or developing a healing routine. Pallas is also a genius at defense. In Virgo she is helpful to labor, and to the armed forces, as well as to defense and to the immune system itself, as it defends the body against invaders. Pallas is connected to the underlying transformative energies of the month. All Virgo associations are subject to skillful transformation, which means death and rebirth. Focus on your work, your skills, your health, and your powers of discrimination. The last week of June
is very active in the heavens. We will experience changes, perhaps in
finances, perhaps in the media.
This is a highly mental day. We can think lofty thoughts, and project our minds into other times and dimensions. Expansive Jupiter (sky god, and ruler of balloons and all inflation) is very strong right now. He will turn direct on June 4, and today’s connection with Mercury is the last impression which he will hold on his direct journey, which lasts for the rest of the year. Jupiter and Mercury can encourage optimistic thinking. By the same token, this combination tends towards overexpectations, which reality then deflates. This oscillation will be one of the mental rhythms of the remainder of the year. Moon is in fiery Aries, and along with busy minds, we have extra-active bodies. Partnerships can be under stress today. Remember the Golden Rule. Also, watch out for burnout. THURSDAY JUNE 2 Moon continues in feisty Aries. Additional stress is added to the partnership tensions—so try to take it easy. Our power buttons are pushed, and we can have the attitude of “I’m doing exactly what I want, and I have every right to push you around.” It may be that the one with the best persuasive abilities wins out. By midnight, harmony can be achieved. FRIDAY JUNE 3 Quicksilver Mercury rules the month, and early this morning she picks up her marching orders—from Sun, of course. Royal Sun is the center, the vitality, the ruler, and the director of the solar system. In our individual charts, he centers our energy. In the solar system, he keeps his dramatic cast hewing to the story line. Mercury and Sun join today, and our mental powers receive another burst of energy. Our ideas can be absolutely brilliant, and our mind can travel at high speed. Focus on what you want to develop during the Gemini lunar month which begins with New Moon next Monday. We can be inventive, looking into the future, but still include the practical aspect of our creations. We are both grounded and open-minded. SATURDAY JUNE 4 Moon continues in practical Taurus. We can finish something which we have built, or finish putting something together. One thing which we are finishing is our long retrograde Jupiter cycle. For months we have been doing inner work on developing our philosophies and beliefs. Tomorrow morning Jupiter turns direct, and we can express our freshened understandings out into the world—again with the Gemini New Moon. Today we ground ourselves, and tomorrow we begin to reach for the stars. (Saturday jobs and errands are very grounding.) SUNDAY JUNE 5 Jupiter
turns direct this morning at 9 Libra. Jupiter went retrograde last February
1, when the Kyoto Protocol, with goals of curbing greenhouse gases
worldwide, went into effect. However, the U.S. is not participating with
the rest of the world, because its government refused to sign it. It’s
likely that this critical situation is one of the things on people’s
minds during this retrograde period. Action on this front may blossom
now. Already U.S. cities, including New York and Los Angeles, are creating
their own greenhouse gas-reducing programs.
This is, in fact, a gassy day. The big gassy
planets, Jupiter and Neptune, are prominent. With them, we have a strong
Mercury which carries things hither and yon. Wind itself might be a
manifestation. Ideas and information will be flying around. We are on
the move, and optimistic. MONDAY JUNE 6 New Moon at 17 Gemini occurs 5:55 p.m. EDT. We now set in motion our month of focus on communication, on making connections, on spreading information. We are in the Libra decanate of Gemini, and we will want our connections to be harmonious and diplomatic—unless they are grossly unfair. Then we will speak up for justice. Moon’s closest aspect is a trine to spacey Neptune, planet of visions and illusions. All kinds of schemes will be flying through the ethers, many of them sounding better than they are on close examination. WARNING: There is almost no grounding in this chart. Plans created now may be far removed from correspondence with reality. The first real earth connection comes in late July, when Mars enters Taurus. Mars will spend a whole 6 months in Taurus (instead of the usual six weeks in a sign); it obviously has a lot to review by then. Gemini is an air sign. Air signs work with people, ideas, principles, and connections. They like to discuss, and to make plans. Libra is also an air sign (and Aquarius too), and Jupiter now making its direct station in Libra is very supported by this new moon. We have seen a preview this last week. Ideas abound now. Horizons widen. Opportunities for growth open up. Travel beckons—look for a busy summer tourist season. We’re opening to a good-feeling, adventurous time. It is also an inventive time, and many new ideas for improving life and the earth will flow into us. With Chiron in Aquarius, healing is undergoing a renaissance. New inventions and new ideas regarding healing are also beginning to light our minds. There has been much “hot air” since the Full Moon in Sagittarius two weeks ago, and it will expand during the next four weeks. Big ideas prevail, such as the U.S. Masters of Space program. This is, indeed, a time to think big, but for our ideas to be ultimately effective, reality checks are essential. A case in point is the submarine San Francisco which crashed into a mountain near Guam, due to a series of overoptimistic bloopers (New York Times, May 18, 2004). In the chart set for Washington, both Pluto and Transpluto are prominent. This indicates that regeneration is in the cards for the U.S. government. New Moon in the 8th house also shows crisis, death, and rebirth. Most of the planets are in money houses, indicating that this positive feeling is about resources. However, we are still under the Jupiter-Uranus quincunx, as we were last month, which indicates overexpectations, followed by disillusion. A Uranus-Vesta mundane square shows surprises in the investment sector. New Moon is not until afternoon, which may make us feel tentative about this day. We are both completing and beginning cycles. If you have a clear view of the eastern horizon in the early morning, check it out just as the Sun is rising. You might have a graphic view of the very old moon imposing itself on the rising Sun, like a ghost ready to assume a new form. The Sabian Symbol for 17 Gemini is
Latin America, Russia, the Middle East, and the Far East are particularly stimulated now. Mars runs through Baghdad, Saudi Arabia, southern Japan, and Brazil. TUESDAY JUNE 7 This is an odd day. Moon is still in nervous Gemini, and we may awaken feeling irritable and feisty. This mood is apt to continue until Moon goes VOC at 2:50 p.m. EDT. Perhaps we can harness this underlying irritability through applying ourselves to work which requires much energy, either physical or mental. At 8:46 p.m., Moon enters emotional Cancer. Shortly afterwards, half of the planets are especially active, indicating that tomorrow will be a big day. This day is also strongly affected. Sleep may be difficult tonight. One of the influences heightens imagination and sparks the creative impulse. The other influence can be disruptive to communication, e.g., power struggles, equipment problems, and accidents. It may encourage changing our minds about something important. Or hidden information may come to light. With Moon in Cancer, we may feel threats to security. Washington DC shows the possibility of a destructive influence via fixed star Algol. WEDNESDAY JUNE 8 Moon continues in family-oriented Cancer, with mostly harmonious and good-feeling aspects. THURSDAY JUNE 9 Moon in Cancer draws us towards home and work. Notice your impulses today; they will tell you something about strategist Pallas Athena, and ruler of the harvest, Ceres. Wisdom and nurturing can shine out. Tonight we may want to take a stroll down memory lane. FRIDAY JUNE 10 Moon enters dramatic Leo at 8:39 a.m. Passion and enthusiasm spring to life, and the weekend can be fun and exciting. Mercury square Mars can elicit some sharp words or bitter criticism today, but by tonight there is enough good feeling to smooth things over. Tonight join your partner and do something really pleasurable. SATURDAY JUNE 11 Moon in Leo, directing the show, is bringing on a whole new cast of characters this weekend. Notice changes in your mood and attitudes. Today Mercury enters Cancer, a preview of the coming Solstice. We shift our mode of communicating from blat-it-all-out Gemini to calculating communication in such a way that it will enhance our perceived security. On the whole, this day might feel a bit foggy. Until nighttime, when Mars enters assertive Aries, and Juno, who wants partnership, enters possessive, sensual Taurus. Sexual desire may be right out front. SUNDAY JUNE 12 Moon is VOC in Leo for the entire day. It is a day to be independent, and to do what attracts you. The arts are especially favored. Moon enters organized Virgo at 9:22 p.m. MONDAY JUNE 13 This is a big day, and moon in Virgo helps us to pay attention. Sun opposes Pluto today to mark the midpoint of a power cycle which began last December 13. At the same time, Moon opposes Uranus to open Pandora’s box. Both Sun and Moon opposing outer planets indicate a feeling of entitlement, a kind of lawlessness. At the same time, Uranus, the planet of surprises, is powerfully stationery-retrograde in the heavens. The Sun-Pluto conjunction which is culminating now began December 13, the day the U.S. Electors voted. This followed the Sagittarius New Moon which was opposite the current Gemini New Moon. Oppositions means illumination. Many crucial events occurred then, and during the following few days. A few examples are:
Don’t make yourself a target today. Watch out for wilfullness and unkindness in yourself. Conscious consideration is the key phrase. Cooperation in an important endeavor can work. And be prepared for surprises. TUESDAY JUNE 14 First Quarter Moon at 25 Virgo occurs at 9:22 p.m., just as Uranus is stationing, and turning retrograde. This is a very potent day. Gemini is good with facts and information, and with tossing a variety of ideas around. With Gemini there are lots of options. At first quarter we want to create something, and Virgo asks how we can practically apply Gemini’s knowledge. How can we use it to make things better? In this case, the question is really, “How can we transform this information?” Pluto, the transformer, opposes Sun and squares Moon to become the dominant influence now. Pluto is in Sagittarius, the sign of synthesizing the facts to create a coherent story. Sagittarius can be a blowhard, and stories extant now deserve a great deal of scrutiny. Transformation has a good chance of equating with manipulation. We are experiencing this vibrational shift which might distort our reactions. Especially noticeable is the release of our assertive energy. Today it picks up the healing—but often disruptive—energy of Chiron. Juno in Taurus is important today. Juno is the good wife. She is associated with both partnership and victimhood. (When we give our power away to a partner, we open ourselves to abuse.) New awarenesses of abuse may arise now. The usual obstacle, fear of diminishing security, may prevent action to counter it. However, with courage to declare independence, healing is possible now. Basically, the dictum of this moon phase is to move into truth as you see it. Remember that “the truth shall set you free.” The degree of this Moon corresponds with Benetnash, the last star in the Great Bear (aka Big Dipper). This fixed star is known to have a destructive influence. Its name means “hired mourners,” and experience has shown that under its influence many human lives are to be mourned. Calamities caused by weather, catastrophes, or accidents are commonly associated with Benetnash. This quarter moon itself certainly has the potential for any or all of those possibilities. Furthermore, in the chart set for Washington DC, this Moon is in the 8th house of crisis, of birth and death. In the U.S. chart it is in the 3rd house of short travel, and opposes Neptune in the 9th house of long-distance travel. WEDNESDAY JUNE 15 Moon is in sociable Libra today, and talking things over attracts us. Security, patriotism, and family may be favorite subjects. Emotions are high today. Watch out for fanaticism and extremes. THURSDAY JUNE 16 With Moon in Libra, we do want to connect with others. Even so, the early morning occultation of Jupiter signals a disruption in a relationship. Stubbornness may impede reconciliation. However, openness and truth may restore harmony. Evening can be very pleasant, perhaps with music. FRIDAY JUNE 17 This morning we have good work energy. We are ambitious. At 11:03 a.m. EDT, Moon goes VOC, and we may drift. However, we won’t drift after Moon enters Scorpio at 6:24 p.m! The rest of the day, and tomorrow too, are excellent for doing our thing. Energy moves along swimmingly. Plan for an inner-oriented, restorative, loving weekend. This is fine energy for paving the way for the Solstice powergate. SATURDAY JUNE 18 This day is pure pleasure, with deep and meaningful communication. Appreciate your comrades. Love is powerful. SUNDAY JUNE 19 Moon continues in intense Scorpio with loving vibes. Sun squares “General” Pallas today to mark an escalation of issues set in motion at the conjunction of June 30, 2004. Pallas Athena is a top strategist. In mythology, she was governor of Athens. June 30 was when nominal power was handed over to the Iraqis. At the same time violence in Iraq was increasing, and thousands of ex-soldiers and reservists were being called up. Also at that time, top U.S. scientists joined 20 Nobel Prize winners in an open letter protesting Bush’s “science.” Astrologically, this is a fine day, and most of us will use the energy positively. It is a good time to say goodbye to negative emotions as part of laying the groundwork for the brand new energy field which is beginning to envelop us. Let Pallas Athena, now in problem-solving Virgo, beam her laser light on goals of right work and real service. The influx of energy now is strong, and it is a good time to ask for guidance. George W Bush has the final hit of his 2nd Saturn Return, and he is now thrust into a new 30-year cycle of maturing. It could be especially effective now to include him in our prayers. MONDAY JUNE 20 Moon is in high-flying Sagittarius, and after a loving weekend, good feelings abound. This is an inspiring day, particularly for any of the arts. We are beginning to actually enter the Solstice powergate. On the West Coast, Sun enters Cancer at 11:46 p.m. PDT. High vibrations abound, and sleep may be difficult. TUESDAY JUNE 21 Sun enters Cancer in the early morning, 2:46 a.m. EDT. Moon is still in Sagittarius, close to joining Pluto, planet of hidden power. In less than 24 hours, Moon will reach fullness, and there is a strong feeling of anticipation. In the northern hemisphere, the sunlight has been increasing noticeably during the springtime. Now Sun reaches its maximum northward journey, and for the next six months the days will become shorter. It is appropriate that the triumph of the night force is ushered in by the sign of Cancer, the moon’s sign. Summer Solstice marks a major turn in the wheel of the year. This is the high point of the year. In terms of the Sun’s cycle, it is the Full Sun, the midpoint of the cycle, and corresponds with the Full Moon. The duration of the Sun’s cycle is one year, that of the moon a bit over 29 days. Fullness is a peak display, and much can become clear at that time. This is an excellent time to evaluate events of the last six months, to look at where we are now, and to peer ahead into the remainder of the year. Sun corresponds with our conscious pathways and challenges. Moon becomes especially important during this next month. Now in Sagittarius, she encourages impulses to gamble, to risk, and to adventure. There is an underlying optimism: “God is on my side.” Sagittarius wants “truth,” and it is a sign of philosophy, morals, and religion, all ways of creating codes of behavior. Pluto goes to extremes, and with the Sagittarius Moon now conjoining Pluto, religious extremism will rise during the summer, and likely for the rest of the year. Last December’s Winter Solstice, which set the foundation for the year, had Moon in practical Taurus. Money, land, and investments have been major emotional drivers of the year’s energy. But Taurus is cautious. The Winter Solstice sign of Capricorn is also cautious. Sagittarius, on the other hand, is daring to the point of recklessness. And the current Cancer Sun is focused on protecting nation, clan, home, and family. Defense is its top priority. These energies are the case everywhere, and it certainly looks like a recipe for stirring up further resistance to those who would occupy one’s land. The Sabian Symbol for Moon at 18 Sagittarius is
For those in the PDT time zone, Moon enters Capricorn at 7:52 p.m., and becomes full at 9:14 p.m. WEDNESDAY JUNE 22 Our high-powered Solstice period continues with Full Moon at 1 Capricorn at 12:14 a.m. EDT. This is a very special period. Within less than 24 hours, we experienced Sun entering Moon’s sign of Cancer to mark Summer Solstice, and Moon entering that zodiac degree which marks the rebirth of the Sun at Winter Solstice. We’ve just had Mars, Juno and Vesta move into new signs, and Chiron is barely into Aquarius. We are entering a new energy field, which will open opportunities for deep change. We can notice that change now. It’s time to create new stories. And we have the imagination to do it. In the chart set for Washington DC, Pisces, the sign which connects us with the universe, is rising. That means that outer planet Neptune, energy of dreams and wild fantasies, rules this chart. Uranus, planet of shocks, surprises, disruption and enlightenment, sits right on the Ascendant, a vital position. Transformative Pluto, the third major outer planet, sits at the top of the chart, close to Moon, influencing all of the other energies. Much power is thus available,as it streams down to us. This chart is dominated by the three outer planets, which change consciousness at deep levels. Imagination, vision, and willfulness combine to create our new stories. Moon, the most personal planet, sits amongst these abstract, far-reaching, transformative energies. Moon represents the people, personal feelings, and attachments to home and group. We have here the opportunity to broaden our most intimate perspective, and to understand that the universe is truly our home. At the same time, patriotism and attachments to family and the security of the familiar are strong. Venus and Mercury, which indicate loving thoughts and communication, are about to join Saturn in the homey sign of Cancer. Saturn in Cancer has a strong emotional need for home ground, or territory. Essentially, this is a moment of focus on family and society, home and work—and how do our daily lives fit into the changing times? This is an active, ambitious, and energetic day. Both today and tomorrow favor working on specific goals. What do we want? This Moon family began just before Christmas 2003. That was when Sharon invaded Gaza, and it was made public that Pentagon memos said that torture was OK. The Sabian Symbol for 1 Capricorn is the same Sabian Symbol for the Winter Solstice Sun:
The East Coast of the U.S., and all of Latin America are particularly stimulated. To that we add Europe, especially Berlin, Paris, London and Madrid. Aggressive energy is strong through Moscow, the Middle East, and much of Africa. Also through the Far East. Japan could have financial problems. (Japan is one of the principal backers of the U.S.) THURSDAY JUNE 23 Moon in Capricorn opposes a string of planets in Cancer. This is excellent business energy, but there can be a conflict between ambition in the world, and tending the home fires. We do work hard. Moon goes VOC at 6:04 p.m. EDT, and tonight we can relax, probably at home. FRIDAY JUNE 24 Moon is in Aquarius today, and we are open to new ideas. Energy flows well. Tonight we will want some entertainment, preferably intellectually challenging. This would be a perfect time to see Star Wars III. The meaning of its archetypal story can sink in to us in a whole new way. SATURDAY JUNE 25 Moon goes VOC at 11:34 a.m. EDT, and remains VOC for the rest of the day. VOC is not a bad time. It’s just undirected. The outcomes of things begun during a VOC time are unpredictable, which is fine sometimes, and not what we want other times. It can be difficult to focus during VOC time. I think of it as a time-out, when the moon is not doing its usual programming of our daily lives. I find it restful, but when I’m wanting to start or complete a project it tends to be a handicap. This is all as prelude to saying that during this VOC time we have turning points in two important planetary cycles, both of them related to social institutions and our roles in society. With this timing, we cannot predict the course of our connection with society during the coming year. And yet we all want to know that. These transits will affect each of us individually. This will not be the usual VOC day, but the action may emphasize inner levels. Notice what is happening inside and outside of you today to get some clues of where you’re going. Warrior Mars opposes Jupiter, King of the Gods. This is the warrior par excellence, very energetic and very enterprising, At the same time it is rebellious and impulsive. This cycle began on September 27, 2004. Again, violence was stepping up in the Middle East. Congress enacted another huge tax cut for the top 20% of incomes. At the same time the news came out that 82% of corporations paid no income tax since the selection of GW Bush. Some even received rebates—on the taxes they didn’t pay. California approved strict air pollution rules, despite opposition by the Federal government and by their own governator. Aries and Libra are the signs here, and justice and balance will be issues. About the same time, Venus conjoins Saturn at 28 Cancer. Mercury, at 27 Cancer, is part of this gang. Security, security, security. We have the two big guys who run society joined by the three most personal planets (aside from Sun and Moon). This means that five of the ten major planets are in tense aspects, all in the go-getter cardinal signs. It is certain that there will be goal-oriented action today and tomorrow. It is not certain how it will work out. Watch out for recklessness and impulsiveness. SUNDAY JUNE 26 Moon travels in mystical Pisces today, while action in the heavens abounds. All of the aspects of the last two days continue. Besides that, we have unpredictable Uranus connected with Vesta, i.e., money and investments. Vesta has been conjoining the U.S. Uranus, which acts frequently as a war planet. We can expect upsets in investments, perhaps as a consequence of our warrior stance. Pallas Athena enters Libra, where she can become the Queen of Diplomacy—altho Libra will also fight for the rights of the underdog. After 3 months retrograde in Scorpio, Ceres turns direct today. Ceres deals with nurturing, labor, and all food issues. They will become more prominent in the public arena. Mercury, Venus, and Saturn have a very close conjunction. This gathering exactly opposes the U.S. Pluto, and U.S. power buttons will be pushed mightily. How will the plutocracy react? Other than the above, it looks like a fine day. Spend some time near water, in nature, or in a peaceful place of contemplation. MONDAY JUNE 27 Moon continues in go-with-the-flow Pisces, and the weekend’s lively aspects also continue. We can complete something positive today. Late tonight spirited fire steams us up, as Mercury and Venus enter Leo. Cancer Sun is still in charge, and we are working on building security with our creative abilities. The asteroids have been particularly active during this last busy week. This lends support to the involvement of the personal planets with the abstract outer planets which I mentioned earlier. It means that big events strongly impact our daily lives. Today Ceres turns direct in Scorpio, the sign of resources. In Scorpio the Great Mother can be very bottom-line regarding not only food supply, but supply of all that we need for survival—and the labor which brings it to us. The unusual Mercury-Venus-Saturn trio has top place in the heavens around midday, and that combination will be on public display today. It will show us how communication for the next six months will focus on building security—surprise, surprise. We keep asking ourselves, “What is the meaning of security for me, here and now?” TUESDAY JUNE 28 Last Quarter Moon at 8 Aries occurs at 2:23 a.m. EDT. It’s time to complete things. One of those things began with the New Moon in Aries on April 1, 2003. That was when the U.S. began to use “high tech” cluster bombs in Iraq. They shred people. Every phase of this Aries moon family has been a new step in war and invasion, and people’s lives being destroyed. It seems absolutely insane for us to use planetary energies so destructively. Dr. Helen Caldicott is an Aries who uses her passion trying to save lives, and to get us to see what we are doing. No, not you, not me—but people whom WE ALLOW TO ACT IN OUR NAMES. Energy is fiery today—Mercury and Venus have just entered Leo in tandem to enhance the fire sign forces. Again, around noon, we will experience the potent trio (with Saturn) above us, now fortified with fire power. Joining the gang is disruptive Chiron in Aquarius, and talented Pallas Athena in Libra. Change in security alignment is indicated. What is it about? Individually and for the nation? This is the beginning of Bush’s new Saturn cycle, and it is a strong start. There is plenty of both energy and motivation in this chart for him to switch to peaceful tactics to accomplish his aims of control and domination. On the basis of past experience, it is not apt to happen. There are two Fingers of God. These are aspects which require continual awareness and adjustment. And then, suddenly, an unexpected shift relieves their tension. They remind me of earthquake faults. Both of these have their action outlets in the relationship areas of the chart, showing that relationships are the keys to resolving tensions now. Pitfalls show through the bodies involved. Mars in Aries warns against recklessness and over-aggressiveness. Juno in Taurus warns against possessiveness blocking the release necessary for a resolution. We are challenged to stay true to our higher selves. The Sabian Symbol for 8 Aries is
This can be an exciting day, with breakthroughs in consciousness which can eventually lead to healing. WEDNESDAY JUNE 29 Moon continues in Aries. The challenge of Aries today is to subdue our personal egos except as they serve the collective. Money and investments may be the major arena of action. We’ve had Venus-Mercury-Saturn aspecting the U.S. (and Bush) charts. That whole complex can refer to finances. Today Chiron opposes Venus and Mercury, and there will be a shift. Pallas in Libra will steer that shift towards a rebalancing of unbalanced forces. Expect surprises. THURSDAY JUNE 30 Moon
in Taurus can help us ground the week’s action. At the same time,
Taurus is stubborn, which may be a disadvantage. This may be a time
to release some claim, as we make room for the next new moon. This is
a day to enjoy beauty. It’s a good time to just let our concerns
go, and appreciate the magnificence of earth.
