March 2014 Daykeeper Travel Advisory

by Susan Pomeroy

We simply have to face it: March is mostly mediocre for travel. Yes, Mercury is direct (though not out of its retrograde shadow until March 20). But Mars and Saturn are both heading backwards for most of the month. Travel difficulties will tend to take the form of slow-downs, stops-and-starts, breakdowns, and possibly accidents, mishaps or rule-breaking born of exhaustion and impatience. Stay alert. The good news: from time to time throughout the month, newly direct Jupiter stirs the occasional forward-moving waft of fresh air.

Saturday-Sunday, March 1-2. So-so.

Monday, March 3. Up-and-down. Possibly tumultuous.

Tuesday-Thursday, March 4-6. So-so.

Friday, March 7. OK.

Saturday, March 8. So-so.

Sunday, March 9. Good.

Monday-Tuesday, March 10-11. Fair tapering off to poor on Tuesday afternoon.

Wednesday-Thursday, March 12-13. So-so.

Friday-Saturday, March 14-15. Good.

Sunday-Monday, March 16-17. Poor.

Tuesday-Wednesday, March 18-19. Good.

Thursday, March 20. Vernal Equinox. Poor travel day.

Friday-Tuesday, March 21-25. So-so.

Wednesday, March 26. Good.

Thursday-Saturday, March 27-29. OK.

Sunday-Monday, March 30-31. Good.
