Despite a plethora of retrogrades, April travel energies flow generally well during the first portion of the month. Overall influences are less harmonious during the latter half of April. In addition, Mercury's conjunction with Uranus, building before and after April 22, can make for shocks or surprises, including unexpected changes of plans.

The usual cautions about Mercury retrograde pertain through April 4: be patient, and allow extra time for miscommunications and scheduling glitches. Expect, and as much as possible prepare for, interruptions in the flow. Usually (!) they won't be make-or-break. All times are PDT (UTC -7:00).

Sunday-Tuesday, April 1-3. Good.

Wednesday, April 4. Basically OK, though with extra care, as Mercury's direct station will feel wrenching.

Thursday, April 5. OK after 8:30 am PDT.

Friday, April 6. Good.

Saturday, April 7. OK; best after 8:30 am PDT.

Sunday-Monday, April 8-9. OK.

Tuesday, April 10. OK. Moon in Sag carries us through the heavier energies of Pluto's retrograde station.

Wednesday, April 11. OK, though best if possible to avoid starting trips during the VOC moon period, 4:00 am - 10:30 am PDT.

Thursday, April 12. Good.

Friday, April 13. OK, with cautions to be wary of impatience, temper, stubborn or self-righteous tendencies, and excessive speed, especially when journeying by car.

Saturday-Sunday, April 14-15. OK.

Monday, April 16. OK.

Tuesday-Wednesday, April 17-18. Good.

Thursday, April 19. OK.

Friday, April 20. Poor.

Saturday, April 21. OK.

Sunday, April 22. Poor.

Monday, April 23. OK.

Tuesday, April 24. Good.

Wednesday-Thursday, April 25-26. Poor.

Friday, April 27. Good.

Saturday, April 28. Good after 9 am (PDT).
