Daykeeper January 2011 Travel Advisory

by Susan Pomeroy

Yippee! January is, on the whole, a great travel month. Enjoy!

All times quoted are Pacific Standard Time.

Saturday, January 1. Good.

Sunday, January 2. Good until late afternoon, when a VOC moon gums up the works. If you're just beginning your journey, wait for the VOC to pass, just before midnight PST.

Monday, January 3. Good.

Tuesday, January 4. Mixed. This super-energetic and eventful day, with a solar eclipse, plus new moon, plus planetary action. Normally we'd recommend avoiding travel during this stressful time. If you've got to be on the road, though, things could just zip right along... but do be extra-alert for the unexpected.

Wednesday-Thursday, January 5-6. Great.

Friday, January 7. OK. Don't start new trips during afternoon VOC period.

Saturday-Sunday, January 8-9. Good.

Monday-Tuesday, January 10-11. Poor.

Wednesday, January 12. So-so.

Thursday-Sunday, January 13-16. Good.

Monday, January 17. Poor. Another hyper-active sky Monday for MLK Day. Misunderstandings and impeded motion create unpleasant and accident-prone conditions.

Tuesday, January 18. Good.

Wednesday, January 19. Mixed. Full moons aren't usually the best for travel. Signals look relatively good for this one, although conditions worsen towards evening.

Thursday, January 20. Good.

Friday, January 21. OK.

Saturday-Sunday, January 22-23. Poor. Jupiter jumps into Aries on Saturday... impetuous actions and decisions can create hazards. Sunday, we're all feeling contrary.

Monday, January 24. OK.

Tuesday-Wednesday, January 25-26. Poor.

Thursday-Saturday, January 27-29. Good.

Sunday, January 30. Difficult.

Monday, January 31. Good.
