There are some great travel times during August. However! Mercury is retrograde for much of the month. The usual cautions apply—communication might be difficult; all kinds of flow can be impeded. So be sure to allow extra time and don't sweat the small (or the big!) stuff. There's a suggestion that travel during August simply might not be as enjoyable as we hope. There's also a general suggestion of accidents involving air travel, easing after the 25th. All times mentioned are PDT (GMT –7). Monday, August 1. OK. Tuesday-Thursday, August 2-4. Poor to mediocre. Mercury stations retrograde on Tuesday. Friday, August 5. Good. Saturday, August 6. Possibly difficult. Sunday-Monday, August 7-8. Generally OK, but take extra-special care with communications; watch for fog of all kinds. Tuesday-Wednesday, August 9-10. Poor, accident-prone. Thursday-Friday, August 11-12. Good! Saturday, August 13. Poor, full moon. Sunday-Tuesday, August 14-16. Good, particularly for inner travel. Wednesday, August 17. Poor. Thursday-Saturday, August 18-20. Good. Sunday-Monday, August 21-22. Poor. Tuesday, August 23. Good. Wednesday, August 24. Poor; Uranus and Pluto make easy movement difficult. Thursday, August 25. OK. Friday, August 26. OK.
