Daykeeper April 2011 Travel Advisory

by Susan Pomeroy

April has Mercury retrograde for most of the month, along with an extraordinary number of very long VOC Moon periods. Thus travel throughout much of the month may feel pointless, aimless, or in some way inconsequential or foiled. Glitches will abound. Travel to correct a mistake or an injustice, to help someone in need, or to ensure "rightness" in some fashion may tend to go slightly better. Inner travel, on the other hand, is highly favored.

All times quoted are Pacific Daylight Time (UTC -7:00).

Friday, April 1. Not so great for starting trips; moon is VOC all day. If you're already traveling, things may move very quickly.

Saturday, April 2. Wham! At least that's what we'd say if Mercury weren't retrograde. Should be OK.

Sunday, April 3. New moon and a lot of planetary energy makes for fast but choppy movement today. Not the best.

Monday, April 4. Poor.

Tuesday, April 5. Good. Best to begin journeys before 4 pm PDT.

Wednesday, April 6. OK.

Thursday-Friday, April 7-8. Good.

Saturday, April 9. Poor. There's a disjointed feel to the energy today, particularly regarding air travel.

Sunday-Monday, April 10-11. Poor. What was merely disjointed on Saturday feels downright obstructed (and obstructive) now.

Tuesday-Thursday, April 12-14. Good.

Friday-Sunday, April 15-17. Poor.

Monday, April 18. OK.

Tuesday-Thursday, April 19-21. Good (but see Terry's warning about Mercury retrograde today!).

Friday, April 22. There is an odd kind of "don't wanna!" quality associated with movement today, especially regarding air travel. Separations from loved ones may feel unusually painful.

Saturday, April 23. Poor. Mercury stations direct today.

Sunday-Tuesday, April 24-26. Good.

Wednesday-Thursday, April 27-28. OK. Best not to begin trips after noon on Wednesday nor all day Thursday.

Friday, April 29. Good.

Saturday, April 30. So-so.
