This September—a time when many of us are on the move—is a very mixed travel month. On the one hand, both Mercury and Pluto station direct on September 12-13, bringing some much-needed forward momentum. On the other, the larger planets are exercising a powerful and unsettling influence which tends to destabilize all of us. Awareness is the key to safe, happy journeys this month—awareness of ourselves, of others, and of our surroundings. Wednesday, September 1. So-so. Not a smooth flow. Thursday, September 2. Good through late evening. Friday, September 3. Probably unpredictable or simply odd. Great after 6pm—perfect for early Labor Day weekend departures. Saturday, September 4. So-so. Lots of anxiety and angst on the road. Here in the U.S., if you're heading out for Labor Day weekend, be prepared—with a double dose of chill pills. Or wait until tomorrow. Sunday, September 5. Good. Monday, September 6. Good until late evening. Tuesday, September 7. Generally good, though slow and dreamy. Pay attention! Wednesday-Thursday, September 8-9. Poor. Friday, September 10. OK until 10 pm PDT. Saturday, September 11. Generally good, though Mercury is still retrograde, adding an element of unpredictability to the mix. Sunday-Monday, September 12-13. Not the best. Both Pluto and Mercery station direct, adding volatility to a high-energy sky configuration. Tuesday, September 14. OK. Wednesday, September 15. Difficult, though inner journeys will be rewarding. Thursday, September 16. OK. Friday, September 17. Very good. Saturday-Monday, September 18-20. Good. (Minor note: curb excessive speed early Saturday morning.) Tuesday, September 21. Poor. High accident potential. Wednesday-Thursday, September 22-23. Poor. Friday, September 24. Good. Saturday-Sunday, September 25-26. Poor. Monday-Tuesday, September 27-28. Good. Wednesday-Thursday, September 29-30. Poor.
