While traveling in October, we may often feel disconnected from the realities around us. This can be wonderful for attending to our own internal processes, or for absorbing and internalizing places, sights, impressions—or for working. But it can also make for inattentiveness, impulsiveness, and startle reflexes that can be hazardous to ourselves and others. Our special travel challenge this month is to stay present when we're actively responsible for our own or others' safety. Friday-Saturday, October 1-2. So-so. Life moves forward at a great pace. Our bodies and awareness may not always want to go at that speed, or in that direction. Snap decisions concerning surprising developments may be required. Sunday, October 3. OK. Monday, October 4. Generally OK. Between 7 am and 1pm (PDT), take a break if you can—or at least don't try to push the river! Tuesday, October 5. Excellent. Wednesday, October 6. Difficult. Thursday, October 7. OK. Friday, October 8. Poor. Saturday, October 9. OK. Sunday-Monday, October 10-11. Excellent. Tuesday, October 12. Poor. Once again, we all feel generally out of sync with the external flow. Be alert for erratic behavior. Wednesday, October 13. OK. Thursday, October 14. OK... although again we're feeling out of step, perhaps with ourselves. If we're operating machinery or vehicles, we need to take special care that internal dialogs don't distract us. Friday, October 15. Good. Saturday, October 16. OK. Sunday, October 17. Very good for travel... except for a big ol' super-spacey VOC moon from noon to 8 pm (PDT). It's best not to begin a journey during this time. Monday-Wednesday, October 18-20. Good. Thursday, October 21. Good. Although we may all be feeling a need to "bust loose," so be extra-alert. Friday, October 22. Poor. Full moon. Saturday, October 23. So-so. Sunday, October 24. Good, and fast...hang onto your hat! Monday, October 25. OK. Tuesday, October 26. Good. Wednesday, October 27. Poor. Thursday, October 28. Good. Friday, October 29. Great. Saturday-Sunday, October 30-31. Fair to poor.
