Daykeeper February 2010 Travel Advisory

by Susan Pomeroy

Overall, February is a middling month for travel. There aren't a lot of great days; there also aren't so many terrible ones. Instead, there are a lot of so-so days, times when circumstances are less than ideal, yet far short of catastrophic.

Monday, February 1. Very good until 8 pm or so PST.

Tuesday February 2. Good after early afternoon PST.

Wednesday, February 3. Good. Annoying timing and communications problems are possible after 6 pm PST.

Thursday, February 4. Good.

Friday, February 5. So-so. Go easy with everyone.

Saturday, February 6. Can be good, though dreaminess and inattention may cause glitches. Great for aimless wandering or exploration, let's-see-what-we-can-find shopping, or other no-stress journeys. Surprises may be in store. Best to begin trips before 8 am or after 4 pm PST.

Sunday, February 7. Generally good; probably speedy, especially on the road.

Monday, February 8. So-so.

Tuesday, February 9. OK. Afternoon better.

Wednesday-Thursday, February 10-11. Good.

Friday, February 12. So-so for actual travel, but a great day for packing, organizing, and preparation.

Saturday-Sunday, February 13-14. So-so.

Monday, February 15. Good.

Tuesday, February 16. Poor.

Wednesday, February 17. Good.

Thursday, February 18. Very good until after dinner.

Friday, February 19. Good, with the exception of a difficult—and probably exceptionally slow—morning commute hour.

Saturday-Monday, February 20-22. Again, so-so.

Tuesday, February 23. Poor.

Wednesday, February 24. Excellent!

Thursday-Friday, February 25-26. Good.

Saturday-Sunday, February 27-28. Poor.
