August's travel forecast is mixed, filled with ups and downs. Mercury stations retrograde on August 20. With Mercury retrograde, as always, check and double-check tickets and itineraries, have back-up copies of documents available (possibly stored securely and accessibly online), and schedule plenty of extra time to deal with unpredictable glitches and miscommunications.

Sunday, August 1. Good.

Monday, August 2. Good through dinnertime.

Tuesday, August 3. Probably difficult.

Wednesday, August 4. Good after 10:00 am.

Thursday, August 5. Generally good. Some bumps and bobbles during the morning commute, clearing up after 9:30 am.

Friday, August 6. Poor.

Saturday-Sunday, August 7-8. Good.

Monday-Tuesday, August 9-10. Probably OK, though not the best. New moon Monday, VOC moon midday Tuesday.

Wednesday, August 11. OK. Late afternoon VOC moon not as much of a disruption as usual.

Thursday, August 12. Poor. We're feeling pushed and pulled, expanded and contracted, and along with that, we may have some rude awakenings, worsening towards midafternoon.

Friday-Saturday, August 13-14. So-so.

Sunday, August 15. Good.

Monday, August 16. Mixed. If we can get a very early start today, or hold off until after 10:30 pm, things should flow more smoothly.

Tuesday, August 17. Excellent.

Wednesday, August 18. OK. Sag moon loves to travel, but cranky Mercury may create stumbling blocks.

Thursday-Friday, August 19-20. Poor. Mercury stations retrograde on Friday, along with lots of disharmonious and difficult aspects on both days.

Saturday, August 21. Still poor. If you must be on the move, try to leave after 6pm, the later the better.

Sunday-Monday, August 22-23. Great! (Though remember to budget extra time for Mercury retrograde glitches.)

Tuesday-Wednesday, August 24-25. Poor. Full moon Tuesday.

Thursday, August 26. OK, but beware of excessive speed.

Friday-Saturday, August 27-28. Not the best.

Sunday, August 29. OK.

Monday-Tuesday, August 30-31. Excellent.
