October is generally good for travel, even before Mercury stations direct on October 15.

Wednesday, October 1. Good.

Thursday, October 2. Excellent until mid-afternoon.

Friday, October 3-Sunday, October 5. Good.

Monday, October 6. Poor.

Tuesday October 7. Probably OK.

Wednesday, October 8. Movement can veer between being overly impulsive, and more difficult than usual today, as moon squares Mars this afternoon.

Thursday, October 9. Excellent.

Friday, October 10. OK until mid-afternoon.

Saturday, October 11. Excellent.

Sunday, October 12. Starts out sticky and gets more difficult as day wears on. If you must be on the road, best to wind it up by 10 pm.

Monday, October 13-Wednesday October 15. Not great. Full moon, Mercury direct; lots of energy but it's not always flowing clearly or smoothly.

Thursday, October 16-Friday, October 17. Excellent.

Saturday, October 18-Sunday, October 19. Uneven and unpredictable.

Monday, October 20. Start after lunch.

Tuesday, October 21-Wednesday, October 22. Difficult.

Thursday, October 23-Friday, October 24. OK.

Saturday, October 25-Sunday, October 26. Poor.

Monday, October 27. Afternoon good.

Tuesday, October 28. Poor.

Wednesday, October 29. OK.

Thursday, October 30. Movement might feel sticky, like molasses.

Friday, October 31. Good; astounding connections.
