Daykeeper February 2008 Travel Advisory

by Susan Pomeroy

February's travel energies are mixed. For one thing, Mercury is retrograde until February 18. I have found personally that while glitches do tend to occur during Mercury retrograde travel—things like missed buses, gate changes, documents' unnoticed expiration—they tend to be difficulties that can be fairly easily resolved and generally do not affect the ultimate outcome of the trip. Still, after Mercury stations direct on the 18th and we're through the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on the 20th, travel in general will become easier. One caveat: if you're flying during Mercury retrograde, take extra care to keep your circulation moving during flight—drink lots of water and get up to move around often, even on a crowded plane.

February 1. Good, though morning travelers may encounter limitations or the need to choose among less than ideal alternatives.

February 2. Mixed. Auto travel not favored.

February 3-4. Poor.

February 5. OK.

February 6. Not good. New Moon plus solar eclipse.

February 7. Moon is void of course most of the day—but nonetheless a very pleasant and adventurous travel day. (Perhaps in honor of our dear Maya, whose birthday this would be, and who was such a joyful traveler.)

February 8. Mixed.

February 9-10. Difficult. People are antsy, irritable, accident-prone.

February 11-13. OK.

February 14. Good.

February 15-16. Difficult.

February 17. Excellent.

February 18-20. Poor.

February 21. Good.

February 22. Poor.

February 23. Good.

February 24-27. Not great.

February 28. OK.

February 29. Land travel good.
