Daykeeper August 2008 Travel Advisory

by Susan Pomeroy

August is a high-energy month, and it's not all great energy, travel-wise. We begin the month with a New Moon Solar Eclipse. Then a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse takes a big bite out of mid-month. And finally, a New Moon on the 30th presages instability once more.

August 1. High energy; high accident potential. If you must travel, stay alert.

August 2. Fine after 2 pm PDT.

August 3. Good.

August 4-6. Difficult. Mars-Uranus opposition culminates Wednesday.

August 7. OK.

August 8. Morning and evening good; midday potentially difficult.

August 9. Best before 2 pm PDT.

August 10. Good.

August 11. The impulse to move is upon us, but so are roadblocks, delays, and frustrations.

August 12-13. Good.

August 14-15. Not good; we're entering the eclipse field.

August 16. Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. Challenging.

August 17. If you can, wait until tomorrow. Energies are still explosive.

August 18. OK.

August 19. Probably OK, though beware potential for aggressive impulses.

August 20-21. Not the best.

August 22. Probably OK. Expect jolts and surprises en route.

August 25. High energy. We'll be antsy to move, but things might be moving too slowly or too quickly.

August 26. Not good.

August 27. Good until 6:30 pm PDT.

August 28. Good, although we might not be in the mood to go anywhere!

August 29-31. Fuggedaboudit.
