Maya's December 2006 Travel Advisory

by Susan Pomeroy

In general, try to plan travel during the first three weeks of the month. Intense energies later in the month can make travel generally difficult; it's a time to take extra care.

AUGUST 1. Not good. Impatience, ill temper and impulsive decisions may be prevalent.

AUGUST 2. Not good. Moon VOC most of day.

AUGUST 3. Good.

AUGUST 4. Begin your journey before 10:31 am or after 4:16pm. Otherwise OK.

AUGUST 5. Fine before 2:30 pm PST.

AUGUST 6. Not good. Jupiter stations direct … ordinarily great for travel but stressful today.

AUGUST 7. Good.

AUGUST 8. Good, especially for flying.

AUGUST 9. Excellent.

AUGUST 10. Should be OK despite all-day VOC. Don’t expect predictability.

AUGUST 11. Excellent!

AUGUST 12. Great until midafternoon. New moon and difficult aspects later may bring vulnerability, plus the potential for glitches.

AUGUST 13-14. Difficult.

AUGUST 15. Morning OK; afternoon not good with a VOC moon squaring Pluto.

AUGUST 16-17. Excellent.

AUGUST 18-19. Good.

AUGUST 20. Poor. VOC moon with difficult aspects.

AUGUST 21-22. Poor.

AUGUST 23. Iffy. Moon VOC plus a Mars-Jupiter opposition.

AUGUST 24-31. Difficult. There is a heavy-duty pattern forming from the 24th on, a t-square of Mars-Jupiter-Uranus. In general, this is not a good time for travel—we’ll all be accident-prone.
