Maya's April 2006 Travel Advisory

by Maya del Mar

In general, April is a fairly good month for travel. Mercury, the major travel planet, is direct, and usually in harmonious aspect. Jupiter, the other guardian of journeys, is part of a grand water trine, which should help travel to flow easily—especially on water. Remember that VOC means to expect the unexpected, not usually the best time to start a project.

APRIL 1. OK. Start before Moon goes VOC at 10:52 a.m. EDT. Even so, there may be a bit of confusion (April Fools!).

APRIL 2. Excellent.

APRIL 3. Excellent in the morning. Possible problems in the afternoon, but they should smooth out by 10 p.m.

APRIL 4.
Excellent..

APRIL 5. Poor. Saturn’s station is apt to slow everything. 11 a.m.-1 p.m. is a favorable window.

APRIL 6. Poor. VOC Moon until 12:25 p.m. EDT. Moon meeting Saturn during the rest of day makes for slow progress.

APRIL 7. OK.

APRIL 8. Most likely OK. However, there will be exciting incidents today, with the potential for destruction. Caution is important. If you’re on the road, make sure you and your vehicle are in good shape, and remain particularly aware of other drivers, possible road hazards, and bad weather.

APRIL 9 and 10. Excellent.

APRIL 11. Poor in the morning. Fine after Moon enters Libra at 1:47 p.m. EDT.

APRIL 12. Fine.

APRIL 13. Poor. We have the heightened instincts of the Full Moon plus an afflicted Mercury. Accidents will occur.

APRIL 14. Fine, although possibly slow in the morning.

APRIL 15. OK. Moon VOC after 2:29 p.m.

APRIL 16. Excellent, especially after Mercury enters Aries at 8:20 a.m., and Moon enters Sagittarius at 10:19 a.m. EDT.

APRIL 17. Fine.

APRIL 18. Basically OK, but do watch out for impulsiveness or frustration. Moon goes VOC at 2:41 p.m., and enters Capricorn at 5:13 p.m.

APRIL 19. Excellent.

APRIL 20. There is good travel energy, but Moon is VOC for the entire day, making travel unpredictable.

APRIL 21 and APRIL 22. Excellent.

APRIL 23. The day is fine. Tonight we have an occultation of Uranus, giving us sudden surprises.

APRIL 24. Last night’s occultations continue with an occultation of Venus this morning. Occultations open a window of general instability, similar to eclipses. The afternoon’s energies are problematical, wherever we are. Not the best travel day.

APRIL 25-30. Travel is good on all these days. Take a trip now!
