Astrological Overview
June 2012

Boots Hart provides an overview and synthesis of the major energies, transits and key dates for the month as a whole.

Daykeeper's June 2012 General Monthly Influences

by Boots Hart

Our path lies before us, if we will only ask ourselves to travel the longer road.

June begins in the wake of a Gemini Solar Eclipse with Venus still in Gemini retrograde. We all have questions, hesitations, trepidations, desires, wishes and frustrations. Yes, we're all going through it.

A heavy-duty t-square composed of Neptune-Fomalhaut midway between Lunar Nodes asks if we are capable of allowing ourselves not to know. This isn't all that easy in spite of June starting out with Neptune going on station. Ordinarily, we would be casting cares to the wind and enjoying ourselves, but with Jupiter hitting 28 degrees of Taurus on June 2 (hooking into the "goal" end of the transiting t-square) we're all driven by what we want to accomplish.

Or need to accomplish.

The famous Zen concept which asks us to focus on what we're doing instead of the parameters which go with what we're doing applies now. In fact, most of June poses the very Zen challenge to "walk on"…even while life prompts us with questions, challenges, temptations, and distractions.

Venus continues retrograde, telling us how much which is happening now is at least partly bent on getting us to recognize that we're quite mortal beings, each alone amidst millions of other mortal humans here on Planet Earth. What this means to us is a good part of our current journey.

Photographica (the “image”) goes retrograde at 5 Aquarius in opposition to Agamemnon (strength of purpose) on June 3. This is likely to be a day when we really feel the differences between who we are and who we want to be (or, considering Photographica in this configuration, who we are and who we want others to see us as). Situations will feel very "first person" and personal, which can make for touchy moments. This may be one of those days when you feel like you're required to "play a part." The bottom line? It's one thing to cooperate with others and quite another to sell yourself out.

Situations provoke an upsurge of emotionality and re-evaluation as a partial Lunar Eclipse occurs at 14 Sagittarius (at 11:13 am UT/+0) on June 4, just over two hours after Neptune goes retrograde at 3 Pisces. Known for emotional moments, for positive or negative this lunar eclipse is likely to take us all beyond the pale. The fantastical, the fanatical may happen…or you may be inspired or provoked to feel unlike you ever have before.

With Neptune taking station, the "high-water mark" of the lunar eclipse releases us from normal bounds of realism and feeling. The unexpected can be expected, and though all may just amount to having harmless fun—or indulging in some flight of fancy or romance, some dream or the dizzying giddiness of success, it pays us to remember that this is just a moment in time. Neptune-the-positive allows us to gift ourselves with the moment, that fun, the escape, that party, an ethereal experience…and so long as we realize this is not the totality of our life, all works out.

Some will encounter a painful truth now, and if that's you, then it pays to consider (with as much honesty as you can muster) how you've probably been living in some state of unreality or denial.

Neptune inspires, Neptune dissipates the illusion. Which you experience has everything to do with your relationship to reality and—since Neptune is making this turn to retrograde in conjunct with royal star Fomalhaut—with propriety. Anything corrupt shows its colors now; though you may be able to get away with doing nothing, that respite is only temporary.

Those who recognize they are at the beginning of a very long and uncertain process will now dedicate themselves to long-term projects which will reveal their true outcome late in December of 2013.

It's substituting a dream for reality which gets us in trouble now. All eclipses occur because the New or Full Moon occurs within 15 degrees of where the Moon's orbit around Earth intersects that of Earth around the Sun. The Moon's orbit, with its monthly cycle, times our daily and personal doings, while Earth's orbit around the Sun is our "greater life." Where these intersect (the lunar nodes) thus represents where our personal life intersects the lives of others and our world.

But there are differences. Solar eclipses tend to mark basic changes in one's life. Lunar eclipses tend to describe a change of feelings or relationships or the direction some situation is going in. There's also the fact that solar eclipses "come on slowly" and evolve over a full three years, with our "getting the message" somewhere close to the end of that time. Lunar eclipses on the other hand, are notoriously prompt! The time of the eclipse tends to mark a "high-water" mark, after which we work through the emotional effects. By the time three months have passed, we have assimilated the situation.

Of course, this is only a partial lunar eclipse. Some say a partial eclipse isn't as strong as a full lunar eclipse. Some say the effects "come at us" from some odd angle—the "out of the blue" effect, you might say. With Neptune going on station, this second idea seems rather apt! And since the eclipse is at 14 Sagittarius and the North Node stands at 5 Sagittarius, there's the suggestion that whatever happens now, it's not exactly a smack in the face.

So maybe we should be facing something, yes. But…are we required to? With Neptune going retrograde, much is likely to be unclear. The astrological rule which seems most fitting to the moment? That of Neptune (allow yourself not to know) plus the North Node (do what you need to do whether you want to or not!).

By degree, 14 Sagittarius is about the use of one's intelligence. And no, this doesn't just apply to the brain-iacs! This is about everybody's need to live up to their own capacity. So…are you? Have you? If you haven't, this may well be when you realize how you've undermined your own goals. Or desires!

Lunar Eclipse June 4

On the Moon's side of the eclipse: Nemesis (warnings) sits on one side of the Moon. Hidalgo (the acceptable protocol) and Antares (high focus) sit on the other side of the Moon. Together they represent how we go about doing what we do, with the question being whether we are fully (Antares) focused on the possible (Nemesis) consequences.

On the Sun's side of the eclipse: a Gemini Sun is conjunct retrograde Venus and TNO Chaos in one direction and fixed star Aldebaran (integrity) in the other. Here, Venus retrograde is the "internalized" sense which in response to the eclipse tells us whether we have/had given enough thought to the value of something. Or maybe your values as a whole. Sun/Aldebaran is either your integrity or the integrity which is expected of you. So…have you rained on your own parade? Or is everything coming up roses?

TNO Chaos is an "outside influence"—something which comes from outside of your normal sphere of operations which could mean any of a zillion things. Oh (by the way)…TNO Chaos is not "chaos" as in "disruption." The celestial object was named for the original Greek sense of "Chaos," as in “a well of endless possibilities.” (Ergo the "zillion things.")

This eclipse is about an opportunity or a problem. Either way, Neptune's turn to retrograde tells us that it will take some time to deal with. The South Node (at 5 Gemini) stands between Charybdis (continuing effort) and Circe (allowing yourself/volunteering to be spellbound). So it's clearly easy to keep doing what we have been doing. But to do so would seem to be failing to own (and be responsible for) our own humanity (our life).

That Neptune (denial of one's ego) is going retrograde exactly conjunct asteroid Lilith (emotional denial) marks our ability to deny ourselves emotional pleasure…or the need to!

So this becomes a chewy eclipse question: will you think for yourself?...and… Will you require that you rise to your full potential?

And wait…! It's not that simple! (As if you were thinking this all is simple?)

And WHY would the metaphysical eclipse message be not that simple?

Because the eclipse is being squared by Mars. That's right, sitting squarely at 16 Virgo, Mars makes this eclipse (with a Neptune chaser) into a t-square. Not only that, but Mars is conjunct Medea and in opposition to Niobe, creating something of an "asteroid grand cross." (And yes, those of us who are cross at the moment will be very cross!)

Seriously…are we willing to throw everything else away (Medea) for the "me/my/mine" (Niobe) thing we are so proud of having waited so long for—not to mention worked so hard on?

Mars t-square june 2012

If you know Medea and Niobe's stories, you know that neither ends gleefully. So even for those who enjoy a happy eclipse moment, there is some sort of peculiar need to curb one's self here. From Mars as the only planet creating a t-square (or cross) with the eclipse, we get a clue that we shouldn't (Mars/Medea) insist on some particular thing.

Doing so may "kill the deal" as it were.

Does it have to do with the nature of that thing? Maybe. Since Neptune is going retrograde but a degree shy of Royal Star Fomalhaut, there is a suggested warning here to the effect that our long-term happiness and success depends on our goals and dreams being (a) not corrupt and (b) not corrupting of others.

Whatever we face now, it's not easy. Positioned at 9 Pisces, Chiron is in square to the eclipse, but not in opposition to Mars.

We call that “a whole other can of astro-worms,” folks.

Chiron-Lunar Eclipse June 2012

With Chiron conjunct Bali, on top of everything else this is a time to draw on our spiritual faculties in dedicating ourselves to do what needs doing even though we really don't know how to do it. Chiron is all about learning through doing, and our (Pisces) emotional paradise (Bali) depends now on owning that very Chirotic thought.

Will whatever needs doing be simple, easy, neat, tidy and obvious? Probably not! For one, any Sagittarian placement says we need to examine the possible against the reality and by that be motivated to make "course adjustments." With Chiron involved, there's a "learning as you go" quotient involved, so that isn't (by definition) neat and tidy: Chiron issues often require trial and error and lots of stress (internal or externally motivated) to "get it done" while feeling hapless about how to do exactly that.

This gets back to the whole 2012 Pluto-conjunct-Facies "victim-aggression" thing. We may feel put upon and lash out. We may feel swamped by too many things which need to be dealt with at once (or gotten into priority order) if we're to get anywhere.

Wherever Pluto, Facies and Chiron come from in your natal chart (and where they are now by transit) describes the nature of your challenge and your "I don't know how to do this" thing. And let's be real here…nobody loves doing their Chiron stuff. Chiron is like an invisible stairway we have to walk to some higher level in life. We want to see the steps we need to take. And we can't. We are therefore understandably nervous about the possibility of a "fall." That's the Chiron challenge. The centaur Chiron (a student of Apollo's) for whom this object is named ultimately is felled in a fight because he's let his emotional nature overrule finding a fact-driven, enlightened solution.

As if to underscore this issue, there's also another factor: a Neptune t-square.

Neptune t-square, june 2012

Neptune-Lilith-Fomalhaut are all in square to the lunar nodes as this lunar eclipse goes off. With the nodes being our relationship to others or where our life intersects general society, the (South Node) easy way out is to (as a friend rather ungraciously puts it) “be sheep.”

(Maybe sheepish?)

We also have a wide divide between the 5 Sagittarius North Node and the position of the Moon at 14 Sagittarius, which is something of a "divide" between what we should do (the North Node) and what we would like to have thought the answer really was (the Moon). The Moon here is a symbolic Moon's exhortation to live up to our full potential in abstract, not material or emotional terms.

But to do that will test our ability—that being the "t" in the t-square here. To excel requires that we “clean up our act,” face up to emotionality (starting with our own and whatever our issues are there) and holding ourselves to a standard of being willing to believe that the truth is not the thing we necessarily want (Neptune) but which is better and more universally ethical in the long run (Fomalhaut).

In other words, we need to simultaneously "divorce" our feelings (that we desperately want) and embrace that which we don't want to know, see or feel—particularly about our Selves.

This is—in a sense—all about wanting to “believe our own PR.” We want to "sell" ourselves on something. We also don't want to consider that we may have bought into a bill of goods. But at some level or in some way, each and every one of us probably has. The more we want to believe the "dream," the more ugliness we will expose in our world, the harder we will try to escape that and ultimately, the more foolish we will not only look, but recognize we've been.

While Venus continues to retrograde in Gemini, there is an opportunity to evaluate and re-evaluate. Saturn trine-by-sign and also in retrograde makes this matter sobering and long term. It hasn't arisen in a day, it can't be fixed in a day and its repercussions—plus and/or minus—will be long lasting.

Mercury's entering Cancer on June 7 at 11:17 am (UT/+0) moves the focus to home, nations, national or personal cultural heritage, family and real estate. With TNO Typhon (basic instincts) going direct now at 3 Libra (in opposition to Pallas and Echo) we're likely to feel very polarized and pulled in various directions, mentally and physically (by obligations). This can be perfectly delightful for those who have had something wonderful happen on the 4th, and whoever you are, this is a time for emotionally clarifications. You may do your thinking while sitting in horrible traffic, while lying under a palm tree on the beach or while writing that report for the boss. As things "hit home," conversations and thoughts trigger a deep response.

And so we realize more about how life really is about learning more about who we are.

As of June 8 Saturn retrogrades into 22 Libra, the degree it goes direct at on June 25. This long "hold" in a single degree will reflect in an "intensification" of events. With Amor (friends, friendliness) simultaneously going retrograde at 22 Aquarius in conjunction with Damocles (unsuspected dangers), situations cause us to realize where we may have underestimated the size of some problem or just what line we're in danger of stepping across. With asteroid House opposing from Leo, we're likely to try to make things comfortable for ourselves. Or that may be exactly what's created the problem!

Here the question becomes “what does being "penny wise and pound foolish?" mean at the moment?” Be careful, lest you trip yourself up!

Opportunities to make real headway are signaled on June 10 by TNO/dwarf planet candidate MakeMake going direct at 26 Virgo in the company of Klotho—with both opposing Scheat/Chaldea. MakeMake being a "bringing things into being" quotient marries well with Klotho, a symbol of "beginnings." With both of these in opposition to Scheat/Chaldea, the biggest challenge would seem to be getting yourself to give up the "old way" of doing or thinking.

Well…okay, feeling. We don't want to go there, but we should, especially as with June 10 also hosting asteroid Medusa going retrograde at 26 Libra (conjunct Saturn and opposition to Eris), we have a second "cosmic vote" for greater gains coming from facing hard truths.

Those willing to step it up with themselves have an opportunity to improve their situation. Just don't expect applause and don't figure on doing whatever needs doing without a sense of trepidation. This may well be a frustrating (even nerve-wracking) day for everyone—24 hours of proverbial testing moments.

And then…just as emotionalism begins ebbing, Jupiter enters Gemini. The date is June 11, this happens at 5:23 PM (UT/+0 time) and as Jupiter enters Gemini we can all count on the pace of life increasing OR our sense of "I need to…" getting more fervent. There are many ways to look at Jupiter in Gemini: the good of it embodies in organization, decent use of one's time, maintaining mental priorities, communicating (with clarity), learning that we don't know everything (and filling in those gaps!) and recognizing when we should-or-shouldn't experiment based on sound priorities (read: acceptable and ethical choice) with regards to what we can and cannot risk.

Considering we've just had a solar eclipse at 0 Gemini, we can expect Jupiter's Gemini ingress to manifest as solar eclipse effects spreading like ripples in a pond. There's a real element of "not controlling everything" here, which reinforces the idea that we need to make (and have made) good choices, lest we end up having to rectify or pay for mistakes.

Because all points get a two-day station allowance (two days before, two days after) when going direct or retrograde, and because Jupiter enters Gemini as Chiron goes on station, these next few days are likely to feel exceedingly complicated. Those who dislike responsibility and/or have less-than-thrilling mental organization/priorities are likely to feel exceedingly beleaguered. And yes, they'll be apt to blame others or “the situation” but when we choose the life, we choose all which goes with that life.

Cherry-pickers won't like this, but I'm not sure the universe cares!

Still positioned at 9 Pisces, Chiron goes retrograde on June 13 at 5:14 am (UT/+0). For Chiron to make this turn while standing in a gap between Lilith/Fomalhaut and Bali suggests a lot of us are having problems with recognizing how we've set ourselves up for challenges and the need to change. That last part—the change commentary—comes from two things marking this station. The first is Pluto being at the moment exactly conjunct Facies (at 8 Capricorn) and the second is Mercury's position at 11 Cancer, right between Alhena (our “Purpose”) and fixed star Sirius (the potential for brilliance).

Pluto-Facies at 8 Capricorn

That Chiron has taken its station in a degree which asks us to own our spiritual power (which when you add Chiron becomes "personal potential") AND that this station is in trine to Alhena (our Purpose) and Spica (our gifts of brilliance) says a lot. Some things we can't change. But we can choose to be who we should be as opposed to what it's easy to be.

With Alhena in opposition to the ongoing Pluto/Facies struggle and Chiron's sextile to Pluto/Facies, this can be a moment of superb frustration manifesting as deep-seated conflicts which juxtapose what has been or what we used to think versus what we need to learn, build and embrace as an individual. Saturn's backing down through Libra's highest degrees indicates a huge sense of "others" influencing or "running" our lives right now.

That's part of the challenge. Can you be who you really are in spite of what others are capable of doing to you, saying about you or thinking of you? You serve a purpose. This six weeks of Venus in retrograde is all about re-evaluating "what's worth it" and "what's not worth it" in your heart of hearts. You are going to wrangle with the "but this is easier and nicer" against the "but that's what I really want" thing. Which will you choose—replete with all the consequences to Self?

As the New Moon of June 19 comes upon us, we take a breath and decide what to do. With this New Moon occurring at 28 Gemini the conjunction to Betelgeuse is our starting point. But since fixed star Acumen stands across the zodiac from Betelgeuse, what we've learned (or are learning) is at the heart of all.

Moon opposing Acumen

By definition, a Full Moon rewards what we've accomplished and shows up where we've erred by going down some "wrong" path. (Wrong for us, anyway!) Thus the New Moon is where we give new things a try. Or where we undertake to get something done. With the solar eclipse (a form of New Moon) having occurred at 0 Gemini, some idea we've had about life has been taken away, forcing us to (Gemini) think again and (0 degrees) start anew. The lunar eclipse (a form of Full Moon) then revealed possible glitches in our plans and how others may (or may not) support us in our decisions, fervently believed in though they may have been.

Now another New Moon—this one in late Gemini—brings us new ideas. Being that this New Moon is in late Gemini, we're open to feedback, suggestions, critiques and so on from others no matter what we do. With Acumen standing across the zodiac from the starting point of this lunation and real question is whether we've “learned anything or not.” So…have you?

Just to make things interesting (like we need anything to be more “interesting” this month?) this Gemini New Moon occurs in an out-of-sign trine to a Pisces Neptune.

What does out-of-sign mean?

When a trine is "natural," it unites two signs of like quality: both theoretical and airy, both tangibly earthy, both liquid and emotional or both fiery and idealistic in nature. Natural trines link abilities in a natural progression. But here we have a late air sign (Gemini) New Moon linked to an emotionally uncertain/indecisive or illusive or charitable or illusion-prone or even self-sacrificing early Pisces Neptune. We will tend here to naturally embody the early Pisces part and thus be hesitant to carry through on some airy effort—thus earning commentary (ahem: critique) from others.

This is a time when we need to "get out of our own way" through careful planning including the continuing Venus retrograde quotient of what's worth what here?

We have a given amount of time to get ourselves into gear. Without spelling out all the details, if we haven't come to some sort of decision and clarification with ourselves by July's New Moon, something unpleasant may encounter a rapidly rotating fan blade. Just sayin'…

As the seasons change with the Sun's entrance to Cancer on June 20 (at 11:10pm, UT/+0) our focus moves from the theoretical of "can," "if," "might" and "possible" into a more here-and-now proactive mode. Considered highly pragmatic and known for long-term planning, Cancer is an emotional sign which exposes our…well, let's just call them our "less mature" attributes. The primal desire here is the protection of one's basic premises and foundations, and this tends to manifest as a phase of holding tighter and tighter to the "known" even when it's outgrown its use or crumbled around us in ruin.

Cancer can foster an alliance between honoring what was and looking to what can be, but that takes a real sense of internal discipline. Those lacking in this area are likely to experience anything Cancer (and therefore the June/July period of every year) as when they get into internal (mental/emotional) tug-of-wars and debates with those whom they are most closely involved with (family, co-workers, quasi-family friends, etc.).

Petty spats are likely to be provoked here where the "idea of the thing" creates emotional (watery) turbulence. Cancer being the natural sign of the "surf zone," such issues may come and go in "waves." Since Cancer aims at maturation through personal growth, it's our emotional need which stirs us to action…and yes, which torque us. So what won't work now is nagging. Also: try not to endlessly change your mind, your plans, or your statements of purpose. Preparation is key. A lack of preparation (or personal responsibility) now provokes insecurity and all the bickering and blaming which is insecurity in projection. So you may get home late because traffic was a bear and get greeted with "why do you always do this to me?" Like you set up the traffic jam? No, you didn't.

Solutions involve understanding why the other person doesn't feel valued and dealing with that. It may simply involve coming in the door and saying "Sorry I'm late—traffic was awful! I hope I didn't spoil anything" instead of "man, traffic was awful!" In other words, the connective energy counts, and will cure many an ill. Just don't expect to get away with excuses via sweet talk! If you're always late because you never leave enough time to do what you want (or need) to do, expect flack. Cancer is polarity sign to uber-responsible, time-oriented Capricorn—and all signs carry the "shadow" of their polarity. This means that peace at home and with our world can only be achieved through responsible use of one's time and a willingness to own—and work on—ourselves.

One other item to remember: the metaphysical rule like attracts like (aka water seeks its own level) is universal physics and metaphysics. So the less willing you are to confront your Cancer/Capricorn (and 4th house/10th house) axis, the more likely it will be that you will populate your world/life with people who also ignore internal self-structure…and the more trouble you're likely to have with those who do work long and hard on the person living their life—as opposed to just on their surface layers of life.

As Saturn hits its station on June 23, events begin revealing what we've "earned" over the past two months and in general, thus far in 2012. This is an intense period highlighted by Uranus squaring Pluto on June 24 at 8:15am (UT/+0)—a signal that untapped, under-utilized or misaligned energy may now break out. That which has been denied now confronts us. That which we need to do or deal with is laid on the table. Will you be breaking free or feeling more boxed in than ever?

Saturn-Eris

Put simply, for some this is simply not a genteel moment. With Uranus squaring Pluto only a day before Jupiter squares Neptune as Saturn goes direct—in opposition to Eris? This is an extraordinary conglomeration of signals which says we can change…or be changed.

The (Saturn) effort is our "life work" job. And with Saturn's station/direct position occurring late in Libra, the real question is about what we require of ourselves. That's what others are, have, and will react to. This isn't just about worldly success—though that's part of it. Jupiter conjuncts the South Node as Venus now moves on station to go direct.

We're either testing ourselves or being tested by others to see if we know what our capacity and quality is. The square to Neptune symbolizes our ability to be realistic, which here is clouded by an emotionality which does or doesn't acknowledge that we're as human as the next guy—and they're just as deserving as we are.

Then there's the challenge of Venus. We want to get ahead. We want to get out of whatever is now holding us back. The hard part is really grasping how the appearance of goodness is not goodness itself. Have we learned? Or are we still buying into shiny images and glib societal packaging? Whether we know it consciously or not, people have an instinctual sense about whether we're living up to our potential or not. And since Venus' station is modified by Uranus squaring Pluto (and Jupiter squaring Neptune) the real question is whether, as individuals, we're willing to step out from under the shadow of disguises which no longer fit or function.

Transits function like clockwork. When they apply to your natal chart, that's personal. When we're just looking at how one transiting planet relates to another we're looking at the temporary "syncing" up of various cogs in the vast clockwork of rippling energy which is this universe.

And yes, us.

Late June is a time for "course corrections" and breaking of outmoded molds. Either we make the effort to consciously change or situations will arise to confront us with changes. Where we choose to ignore the Fomalhaut/Neptune rule by living in denial or refusing to accept responsibility we will inevitably trip ourselves up. It may take a while, but we'll do it. Why? Because unconsciously we need to.

No one wants to be a bad person. Not even the most horrible of criminals gets up in the morning saying "how wonderful to be so evil!"

With Mercury's entrance into Leo on June 26 (at 2:25 in the morning UT/+0), those willing to take a risk on something new begin to soldier on. Those who think everything's "under control" will ignore prompts and shift their burdens down the road. (Just a bit. Not very far, but a bit!) With Mercury in Leo, a little hesitation is expected, insecurities get voiced and a few "experiments" will fail. But that's part of the Leo process. In Leo, we try, we learn some, we redraft and try again. The main thing is to be open to learning something new even if (yes…) you may not know if you've done the right thing for a while.

June's last astrological act is Venus going direct at 7 Gemini. This happens on June 27 at 3:08 PM (UT/+0). Over the next week or two, people will begin responding to us (and our efforts). As Venus picks up speed moving direct through Gemini, we will prove or dismiss hunches, solidify plans, tweak a few ideas and in general, move back towards a pace of give-and-take we think of as "more normal."

But we've changed. The intensity of May and June 2012 are astrologically marked as a time when even if an "old mold" doesn't shatter, it certainly cracks. This "what works" and "what isn't right" is the foundation upon which our cause/effect mantra will be based for the next two years or so, and those who have clung to something which doesn't work (but which they're loathe to let go of) become ever more compromised not by the times, not by the "thing" they feel saddled with, but with a mentality—a spirit which refuses to grow.

Not fun, that.

Saturn-Eris' opposition will continue on until mid-September—about the time Pluto goes direct. It's a “companion piece” to Pluto/Facies, a process which strips away all the veils and sense of glory until we consider our lives in very blatant and naked ways. Much is fading away. Our future—individual and collective—needs to be planned out and set into motion. This June's combination of Saturn and Venus "counting down" to go direct is a metaphysical metaphor which asks us to be pragmatic.

We have one life. In human terms—in terms of who you are at your most basic level—what is your life all about. What should it be about? Some of us need to make some course corrections. Some of these corrections are going to be more drastic than others.

It's all about Gemini (what we know and what we will choose learn) and Cancer (what we will make of ourselves) and whether we're being honest with ourselves.

As Saturn and Venus go direct, with the Sun in Cancer we are asked how we can fulfill our purpose as an individual and what the different between "want" and "need" really is. Are we merely a creature of rote who "goes along to get along'? Do we live through our emotions or controlled by emotions either felt or denied?

What we don't know, we can learn. What we know we ignore or deny becomes our stumbling block or downfall.

What will you choose?
